    I got this chair about a month ago. The adjustability is good but the lack of "locking" is annoying. I'm 6 foot (1.82 meters) tall and around 250 lbs. The comfort of the back is great, but the seat mesh does get tiring after long sitting sessions. I did find putting my Purple seat cushion pad helped the comfort significantly. My biggest complaints are the lack of neck rest as the angle of the built in one is not great and I found black powder grease was falling out of the sliding channels under the arm wrests. Overall I think the chair is overpriced and with a $200 discount it could be a good alternative to some pricier chairs.

    Honestly, I was expecting the same old mesh chair, but was REALLY shocked by how much I liked this. The upper back does come a little too forward for my liking when I'm sitting upright, but rock the lumbar pad all the way out with fully tensioned tilt tension and I feel much more natural sitting in the chair!

    Great overview. Looks comfortable and the polished aluminum frame is a plus. But the 3-year warranty makes for questionable longevity. If Sihoo wants to compete with the likes of Steelcase & Herman Miller they need to back their product for 10-12 years.

    It's like a prettier more advanced version of the old Ergohuman V2 I had, I'm not completely sold on it but I have my eye on it now! I was also interested in the ROG Destrier but I've seen a lot of complaints of build quality issues. I currently use a Secret Lab but I want to go back to mesh, there just doesn't seem to be any chair with that goldilocks 'just right' quality for me yet, particularly considering the price range a chair is a long-term investment I want to get right

    I received the chair yesterday and I must admit I am disappointed. The product description suggests comfort and support, but upon sitting down I found a very different experience. The chair turned out to be just mesh with no padding, and the feeling of floating I never expected to get. The only thing notable is the mechanism to adjust the lumbar support; The rest is basically a common chair with an attractive design that does not justify its high price. I plan to return it as soon as I take it apart again. It is important to be alert to misleading promotions, while they give them the chair, we end up paying the full price.

    Hey! I can see why you would think that. Basically, the brand reaches out and offers a sponsorship. I tell them I want to check out the product first, and if and only if I like it, will I accept the sponsorship. I test the chair, and then make my decision. In the case of the SIHOO S300, I genuinely liked the chair, which is why I took the sponsorship. Companies really only make me "present" the chair and use their marketing language. I don't have to compliment anything. So anything I proactively complimented about the chair, those are genuine parts that I see as positive about the chair (basically the first few minutes). If you have any questions about the chair, I'll answer them honestly! And if you want an objective review, just ask and I'll try to get it on the calendar! A friend of mine (5'6) came to my studio on Friday. She had this chair in her top 3 (Anthros, Gesture, and S300). She ultimately decided on the Anthros. So it was good to know that I'm not crazy! Key notes about her criteria: She was looking for something that would keep her sitting properly. She gets cold, which is why she was a bit hesitant about the S300, because she already has a HM Sayl at home

    I only accept sponsorships if I like the product! It would be great if more companies would offer 30s-1 min sponsorships, but i don’t have enough subscribers and/or companies don’t offer it often in this industry! The things I liked about the chair I genuinely liked. I had a friend (she’s 5’6) come through the office today bc she wanted to decide on a chair. The s300 was in her top 3 picks. Unfortunately, it came in 3rd (she’s currently deciding between the anthros and the gesture with headrest)

    Appreciate everyone's passion here! JackBoxer has been a regular viewer here (thank you for your support!) and I understand his concerns! Personally, I'm always torn when doing a sponsored review, because it does mean I can't critique as I would like, and I question how much value I give to my viewers when I do an overview vs a review. But many people ask me to review $1,000+ chairs, while others don't subscribe/donate (which is totally fine btw), but it does unfortunately mean many brands won't give me the time of day or send me products to review. So this means I'm paying for many of these chairs out of my own pocket. These sponsored videos really do help make the other videos possible. Even then, I won't accept sponsorships from everyone. I explicitly state that I'll only do it if I like the product. While the S300 has some flaws, for its price point, I would definitely recommend it (esp for heavier folks, which is rare for many of the asian-made mesh chairs!). But I also try to make it very clear that these videos are overviews, not reviews! I monitor my comments and if people ask me for a real review, I may do a follow up real review! So ask away! Appreciate you all caring so much! It means a lot...chairs aren't very "sexy", but it's good to see people passionate out there about their chairs!!!

    I have to say the design is not the most appealing. There's a lot of visible moving parts, wires and springs that I'm not a fan of. The arms look ugly and I really don't like how easy they would be to move out of position. Another thing I noticed is when you mentioned you can really open up your chest and shoulders, to me it seemed the opposite - you were hitting the edges of the backrest with your arms almost immediately. The backrest also seems to push your shoulders forward, which I absolutely hate. Overall the chair looks over-engineered, so many parts that could just snap or twist wrong and would require you to replace the entire chair. I can't help but think you opinion was influenced by the sponsorship.

  • @Ahnestly

    @Ahnestly

    4 ай бұрын

    Good points! I can definitely open up my chest on this chair without my shoulders turning inwards. There's a nice little nook for my arms to rest when I do spread out. The upper back can push the upper body forward a bit, but I think it's to prevent you from slouching in the chair. I've noticed that I do prefer the lumbar ALL the way out on this chair (which is not aggressive feeling at all) to feel more naturally curved in the chair, if that makes sense!

  • @cenciende9401

    What an incredibly dumb comment. Just because you're so weak-minded (clearly, considering how bad you are at critical thinking and observation, everything you have said is wrong, and I would love to know what crap you think is 'beautiful' if you think this gorgeous chair is ugly) that you would be influenced, it doesn't mean others (your betters) are.
