One kill in all the franchise actually got me to jump out of my seat with delight and show it to other people. IDW's Beast Wars reboot involved two new characters, both female. Nyx was a Maximal bat and Skold was a Predacon snapping turtle. One thing the comic did that the show never got to was introduce Razorbeast, a friendly Maximal who has no idea what's going on and ends up befriending Skold. Skold's never actually had a friend before and really likes it, so when Terrorsaur kills Razorbeast and then stands there mocking her for caring, you can understand why I was into it when, without a word, she RIPPED INTO TERRORSAUR'S CHEST WITH HER BARE HANDS AND TORE OUT HIS SPARK.

30:15 It was the SHADOWPLAY that made Shockwave emotionless, Empurata is just the whole head and hand replacement punishment thing.

Little fun fact blurr from the animated series isn’t dead, according to the writers,his spark is still intact in that little cube, if the series continued sari was going to make him a new body with the all spark key when they find him

Most heart breaking was iron hide in the movies it truly showed how strong iron hide was because the only way they would kill him was by betrayal

If you wanna talk about Prime kills, that scene where Ratchet brutally intorgates and tortures those random vehicons for information while drugged out of his mind on sythetic energon

Prowl's death was especially hard to watch. Nothing like that was seen on the televised cartoon. Sure they all got shot but nothing traumatic or deadly happened. U go to the movie and see this? Nightmares for years.

the duality of shockwave and khorne is that one kills to keep their job, the other keeps their job to kill.

Dinobot yelling "Override" is burned into my brain i have watched that episode so many time.

Yes Prowl from both G1 and Cyberverse was sad, but his sacrifice in Animated, and Animated’s ending in general, brought me to tears.

Surprisingly, Krok actually survives all that, Crankcase turns up after the DJD go away (they got distracted by news of a bigger target and thought Fulcrum, who they were hunting, was dead) holding Krok in his arms and saying "He'll live, since you asked" to Fulcrum. Krok then shows up in later issues featuring the Scavengers, with a rebuilt face (that looks the same as his old one). So wehey, not dead.

11:35 i remember the youtuber diamondbolt made a series of videos called the pits around half a decade ago which was him going over how many times different transformers characters had died. with my dodgy memory i remember Optimus and megatron being around 4th to 2nd place with somewhere around 25 deaths. but no one could top starcream who had around 36 deaths; and that has problably jumped to around 50 over the years

Cliffjumper couldn’t die in foc, it’s the same universe as prime.

Shockwave's old personality resurfaces in the end of Dark Cybertron. He's so digusted with himself that he asks Optimus and Megatron, whose turning to the Autobots prompted Shockwave to get so shocked (heh) that his personality could return in the first place, to kill him. As he dies, his body is sucked into the singularity inside his body he intended to use to collapse the universe into an infinite source of energy around Cybertron, and he is flung into the distant past. And then it turned out he lived. He still has his old personality mixed in with his new one, so part of him thinks he needs to make history play out the way it did not only to ensure the universe doesn't implode and his various schemes, but also so he can ensure his past self gets to chill with Orion before the war alters them both beyond recognition. He really does care!

I would argue Dinobot is #1 since the transformers g1 season 4 had the events of the headmasters that bonded with a Human (Spike) lead to Spike and the Nebulons stoping the Glavatron’s plan to kill all the autobots and sucking the earth’s sun of energy, and also is what lead to the second golden age of cybertron, arguably causing the events that lead to the maximal upgrade as well, his actions assured the entire existence of the G1 and Beastwars & Beast Machines shows events. All of G1 is thanks to Dinobot

Hey MrNormalPerson, Love the channel your transformers work always seems fairly genuine but I wanted to ask one question(which is open to anyone) but around 18:24 when you were talking about Blurr I wanted to know where you got in for on his appearance after being made a cube. From my memory of the show, after he was decommissioned Via shockwave, his character was never shown again, nor the cub he was made into. If you can inform me on where you got that info of Sari using his remains to beat a villain that would be great. This wasn’t me being critical for anyone reading this, its just a curious Transformers fan!

It's not a kill, but I think it should've at least been mentioned under "ludicrous" because they contributed: Skids and Mudflap in Bayverse, the goofiest excuses for autobots, actually giving Devastator cosmetic surgery and a hard time. Well, until one shoots the other in the face.

For me, Scrounge's death was pretty intense. Of course, I was just a kid when I read it. But there is something to say for a Transformer who was sort of destined to be a loser, with no cool gimmicks or powers except for mic-fingers and a wheel alt-mode. Little dude's not even a full vehicle, just a wheel. And he still put his life on the line to get intel for Blaster, only to get executed by Straxus getting melted alive. Even as he died, his thoughts were of getting the intel to Blaster, which he did. A selfless loser dedicating his life for a cause, only to be rewarded with one of the most heinous deaths imaginable. Poor li'l feller.

It's a loose sequel. One thing to understand about aligned is that the only people who were into it were the people who wrote it. Everyone else pretty much ignored it and the rest of us had to perform mental gymnastics to explain things like how Grimlock and Sideswipe in RID were nothing like they were in the games. This especially sucked because I never even got to play the games and had to sit through the "movies" on KZread to get even that fractional experience.
