So, weighted average of boys in the combined class = (40%*5/6) + (37.5*1/6) = 39.58%. Conclusion - So we can see that, overall % of boys in combined class increases with the increase in the proportion (Class A students : Class B students) and minimum is therefore 39.17%.

@@arkay3804 at the same time it's good to share short tricks also as time poses big constraint in actual exam...so we really need to share whatever tricks we can use.

Q1 No need to go for calculations, As in second case contribution of A is 1/3, so contribution of B should be 2/3 in t time,now as B finish 1/3 work in 10 minutes so it will take 20 minutes to finish 2/3 work so t=20. Is it OK?
