Lets understand what are aggregate function & we will see 3 main categories of aggregate function which you will ever need in any data analysis or aggregation needs
1. Basic Aggregation - Sum, Count, Average, CountA
2. Expression Aggregation - SumX, CountX, AverageX etc..
3. Distinct Aggregation - DisctinctCount, DistinctCountNoBlank, Distinct

Hi,You teached us two way for doing sum operation,in sum() we create column then finding total sum for that and if we use sumx ,does that create a new column or just display the result.Thanks in advance.

Hi, Whenever we create a measure, it will not create a physical column instead it calculates your expression and give you the result. So sumx will not create a column, it will just display the result based on the visuals.

These videos are based on category like Datetime, Aggregation etc. So when you r watching, complete each category at a time. For example Datetime Dax videos are distributed in part 1,2 & 3. Hope this helps!
