That season sucked. How is it underrated? Evil mom, shitty cheaters eating too much and screwing the balance of the game because they were feasting while the other tribe was playing and rationing right. They lost flint, FFS. At least when it was unfair in Fiji it was by design.

ambers game in AS is really underrated just cause people think rob deserved it more. rob clearly forgot that it was a social game while amber played that to her advantage cause she was making the same moves that rob did but had less blood on her hands. rob and amber is literally russell and natalie before it was russell and natalie. both guys made the same poor social plays while the women stayed looking pretty.

She basically played the exact same game she played in Australia: Make a tight alliance with someone way more disagreeable than yourself (in Australia it was Jerri), be sweet and humble to everyone, and with a little luck you and your disagreeable partner will be the final two, and you'll win easy.

Roger Towny Jr. i would disagree, since amber was more dominant in AS because of her alliance with rob. amber was more like a lap dog in australia who didnt really have a firm grasp on strategy but was a key part of the decisions that she and rob made together.

Alicia asked a very simple question; in one word, how do you best describe how you played the game? Amber's answer: With luck. In Australia, she would have stayed in a dominant alliance for the rest of the game had Tina not flipped Colby at the last freaking second during the Mitch/Kieth vote (like seriously, last second. "In the truck on the way to tribal council" last second) She wasn't as lucky that time. Personality wise, yes she was very different. She was a bit more mature, she had a clearer idea of what she was getting herself into, and she was far more committed to actually play the game and win. That said her actual games were not that different. She just had a lot more luck in All Stars. She was on the dominant tribe premerge, there was this overall census at the beginning to just vote off all the winners and players with actual reputations (like Colby and Cesternino) and then her future husband was willing to commit jury management suicide by making a deal with his close personal friends outside the game to protect her, and then in a blink of an eye stab them in the back. Even if Rob lost Amber, he probably is still in the finals. His tribe still had the numbers, he was still going to win immunities, and Big Tom and Alicia were still never going to betray him, for whatever stupid reason. In fact, his odds of actually winning without Amber are probably better.

Roger Towny Jr. the only way robs odds are better without amber are if she gets voted out without his interference cause if rob votes her out he looks like a jackass and has no argument about loyalty to use. I actually disagree cause without amber, rob has no crutch cause she was the only person he ever trusted and relied on. Rob just gets taken out as soon as his queen goes cause rob had no control without amber. there was definitely an element of luck in ambers Australia game too because if skupin hadn’t gotten medevaced, Kucha likely dominates the game and Amber goes early merge. She was lucky to have gone as far as she did in Australia. Even Tina said that amber was mostly dragged along and just asked who to vote for. She played no strategic role in Australia except for being someone’s extra number whereas she was a more powerful player in AS who didn’t get turned on like she did in Australia because of her strategy.

Yeah, that's a good option! I also thought maybe any of the moments in All Stars where he saved himself even though he had a huge target on his back. I did include Denise talking to Skupin. I feel like as long as the moments aren't putting these dudes in a good light, it should be okay!

Perception is reality on survivor. It’s your job to let people know what you did to advance yourself in the game subtly enough so that they can’t vote you out but they respect you if you get to the end. Amber may have gotten some votes because they were pissed at Rob but the decisive vote was Shii Ann’s so it paid off

4:08 I didn't watch this season but do you think ben should have voted a bigger threat than Lauren out? Or was lauren a big threat and he did the right move? I know he won so you might think what he did was right but would it have been better voting another person out?

Ja La Lauren was a very good player. She made one big mistake in the game regarding an idol but disregarding that, she was extremely strong. He made the right move.

i think it should've been chrissy, not because ben should've voted for her, but i think lauren should've kept her idol and played it. then they would have to revote and get rid of chrissy. ben voted for lauren because he thought she was a big threat to win
