He had no problem taking on the Bulls when he played in Washington.

He didn’t jump on his back and you have to hold your ground as a defensive player if you’re going to block out. He folded like a lawn chair which impeded Harden’s movement causing him to also fall. Even though it was an extreme exaggeration had harden not flopped he wouldn’t have got the foul call but that was in fact a foul. Basketball is an offensive driven league as are most popular sports (Football, Soccer, Hockey, Rugby, Baseball).

For starters the man speaking isn’t a Rockets announcers, it’s a nationally televised game and he is a commentator. Secondly, you cleary haven’t played or don’t know the rules what he said was in fact true, you can’t impede the offensive players movement.

Slow Motion shows the foul way more clearly keep that in mind. 1st moment of a foul was him cutting off Harden while was walking causing him to reroute as he simultaneously pulls Harden in with his left arm. The hook from MCW alone was a foul but by bending his body over paired with the left arm hook it brought Harden down which in turn caused Harden to fall. It was a great call by the refs and a great sell by Harden. Harden is a smart player and knows the rules inside and out so what seems like offensive fouls to people who haven’t played is clearly defensive fouls to professional NBA refs.
