Part of me thinks that the bottle designers need to get more recognition nowadays. Especially if they're not the brand owners. I think some designers used to acknowledge them more in the past (probably for marketing reasons), but it's still part of the art! Definitely a standard way to make your brand stand out in the niche market.

I think you are exactly right. We used to get iconic bottle designs, but now there is rarely anything that catches the eye.

I agree, red is beautifully done with fragrance bottles.

I feel like you have left out Shalimar, I think it has to be one of the most iconic and recognisable bottles in perfume history. But anyway I am glad you have started this series as one of the main reasons I started collecting perfumes is the bottle haha. Great content as always!

I’ve never bought a perfume bottle for the look of a bottle alone. But, in the olden days the more beautiful the bottle, the better the perfume was I believe? Xx

Speaking of beautiful bottles I think Dries Van Noten line should also be on the list - I have no idea what they smell like but I want them all!

I always rely on Sebastian for my fragrance choices so I’m excited for this this list; a lot of times, bottles draw me to purchase fragrances. Now I need Nocturna. Alexandre J really outdid themselves in their recent release. I have Oriental Enigma from the brand and it is a work of art! Very intricately designed. Lune Feline is another stunning bottle. I think God of Fire by SHL is another beautifully designed bottle.

Reine de Saba looks like a fabulous house, oriental meets french fragrance. Astral is one I'm going to look into a little more along with lune feline. Great idea for a review 👌

My absolute fav is Chanel No. 5. So classic and classy!

Hi! Even before I watch the video; I definitely buy perfumes for the juice!!!! 100%!!!! I store my perfumes in a cabinet that stays cool and dark!!!! I don’t display them! So, I get upset with overpaying for a fragrance!!!! Great video!!!! I love a fragrance by HOS Minnie Mouse, but refuse to pay for a fancy cupcake! I own about 150btls so I am a fragrance lover! Not a collector! Love all your videos! Now back to the video!

My first splurge after stumbling into all this, about two years ago, was stimulated because of your review about the scent, but the really unorthodox bottle drew me, too: CdG Rouge. It's like a ruby!

When I wear Jazeel Ghala, I spray at least an hour before I go out. Trust me, you _will_ turn every head in the room with this beautiful rose/oud beast; so if you want attention, this will absolutely garner it.

Beautiful bottles, difficult to pick one, they all have their uniqueness. 🌹

Wow, that Xerjoff bottle is gorgeous! I have Imperial Peacock myself and I agree; it's the most beautiful bottle I own. I don't have the one with the golden peacock though; it makes it even more beautiful. Personally, I have always been drawn by the sixties inspired bottles from Vilhelm Parfumerie, but ironically I don't own anything from this house. I also adore Guerlain's golden bee bottle. I strongly dislike Roman/Greek style bottle like from Eclectimus and Argos.

The blue Thameen bottles are absolutely beautiful to me. I also adore the Loubiworld bottles, esp the extrait ones. Just stunning. And I'm sad you didn't like Nefs. Its my fav Nishane and so sexy to my nose.

You should definitely try more Stephane Humbert Lucas fragrances and do a video on them! I especially think you'll like Crying of Evil from the new collection. Those bottles are even more beautiful with the serpent head and crystals!

I bought HOUBIGANT Fougere Royale partly because of the bottle. I think it is so classic and timeless that every older gentleman should consider having one in his collection. Not sure if it was mentioned here!

I like Trussardi La vie di Milano line as well as Pana Dora bottles. Triumph of Bacchus and Lamar are also great for interior decorations 🤩

The favorite from my humle collection has to be Argos Danae, but they're all really spectacular. Really luxurious feeling. Overall presentation of all Xerhoff fraguences are also top notch.

In my collection Keith James' Prima is the prettiest followed by THOO's Just Before and then Lalique's Soleil Vibrant and also Sisley's Izia La Nuit. Your collection is superb!

Some of those bottles are truly works of art. My two favorite perfume bottles are Guerlain Guet Apens and the original Amouage D Woman Cristal

for me specially the new perfume i never heared about yes as a online shopper but so rarley like the mind game and largos but for sure with lovely juice am always checking the ingredient and ya louboutin is amazing as well

The new Aedes de Venustas bottles are attractive, but the old bottles when they first went into production are very elegant and not at all garish!!

I usually try to buy perfume based off of the jus, but if it doesn't have a nice bottle, I'm a lot less likely to want to get it. I think part of collecting is having a visual that is pleasing to me as well. I think it's well worth it to have a good bottle.

Which Guerlain bottles? For example Vetiver and Derby have gone through a few or more bottle designs. Derby has the original "Eagle" bottle design and the really cool 2000's iteration with the wooden frame.

They are the best ! You have a good eye for the beauty.

Surprised you left out Penhaligon’s bottles with the animal heads. To me, they’re more striking than Lubin bottles. The best niche bottle I have is Atelier Des Ors and in designer, Dunhill Icon bottles definitely punch above their weight.

What about L'Envol de Cartier? I like that bottle a lot (the refillable one). It's fussy, but looks great.

Yea but it's too much. Too unwieldy. And the juice is not even a whisper.

I’m actually wrapped someone finally did a top video of perfume bottles! I think the bottles and presentation go such a long way. Imo it adds more weight to the value you have in a perfume/cologne, if the presentation and quality of materials in the product are more prestigious and luxurious. As can be said for when Sebastian was drawn to the Boadicea bottle at Selfridges. Hence why the bottle designs and quality at Parfums de Marly and Xerjoff are extremely nice and appreciated for me.

One of my favourite fragrance bottles is Seta by Moresque. When I first saw a review of this fragrance, all I could focus on was the beauty of the bottle. And within that week I spotted the bottle in store and I had to try the juice. Love at first sniff, so it was a win-win. When it comes to designer fragrances, possibly my most striking bottle is Florabotanica by Balenciaga. The juice is really good too, a most unsual rose and cannabis fragrance.

Argos bottles and packaging deserves a mention!

I had a roomate in my 20’s whom was a j-1 student from Russia. She always wore Eclat. The bottle was not super wowing but i always thought the simple sphere shape complimented the lavender colored “juice” inside. She was devastated when she dropped it. 😢

Lamar by Kajal; Delina is just pleasue for the eyes and hand; most Casamorati bottles esp. Bouquete Ideale

The Baniyas bottle is really striking in person. The juice is good too.

There’s people that buy empty Thomforde bottles just to display around their house. I’ve never heard of this. They use them as book ends.

Juice by far , if it’s crap then you have a nice bottle of lighter fluid .

The gold flakes are a nice touch in the Atelier Des Ors, but the actual bottle is really ugly. Looks like a cheap shampoo bottle.
