Adding ITZY here is a crime. Though their recent comebacks have not succeeded as much as their popular songs like wannabe, loco, not shy, etc their popularity level is still higher then the other groups mentioned in the video. JYP is known for it's successful girl groups, but it's ruining it's reputation! The girls of both itzy and nmixx are freaking talented, they just need a better producer! They are good at dancing, but dancing alone can't be helped. Music is what matters ultimately. I know music is subjective, it depends on personal taste. But their music doesn't seem appealing to a lot of audience. I just hope jyp gives them a banger comeback!

Calling a Japanese group flop, who topped Oricon and Billboard Japan Charts, in world's biggest music market must be a joke. They were never promoted globally and started promoting in korea recently that too for limited time. They were mostly promoted in Japan and you would never hear of it cuz of their closed nature. There are "flops" who are really good, I swear every time I look up a song from a disbanded group. "Oh my gosh they were so good they could have/should have made it" The problem is just oversaturation in kpop. There are a ton of super talented groups and it's hard to stand out.

Boy Next Door might not be that popular but one thing they have that big groups lack is a Stable And Loyal Fandom/Fanbase❤

Just because there a K-pop groups in big companies that aren’t as popular as other groups from the same company, some groups get lots of hate or don’t have popular comebacks compared to previous songs, doesn’t mean they are FLOPPING. Fromis_9 is not “flopping”, they just have a smaller fan base. ITZY and NMIXX are not flopping, some people just consider ITZY’s comebacks to not be as good as their previous songs (but listen to Born to Be it is so good) and NMIXX literally debuted two years ago, you can’t expect them to amass as big a fan base as other popular JYP groups who have been active for a lot longer. Flopping is a very strong word and I feel like it doesn’t apply to any of these artists, in my personal opinion. P.S. I wasn’t trying to leave out boy groups in this comment but I listen to girl groups more and I don’t know much about the boy groups mentioned, so I thought I shouldn’t talk about them here.

Being big worldwide won't help them win any daesangs at the mama's that are considered prestigious. And once they disband, they would need the Korean audience to give them a career (bc internationally they can't make it since the west audience don't care about solo idols). So groups like enhypen are meant to be forgotten if they don't solve this problem in SK + Itzy is doing as well as enha internationally, they litteraly sold out the Prudential center twice. Enhypen and Ateez both do good internationally but are nugus in their home country which is embarrassing and worrying for their future career. Once they disband they won't have any fame going solo unlike Itzy

Most of the kpop groups mentioned in this video are either still gaining popularity, or most people don't listen to their songs( except for the actual fans). I don't think you can call them flops. These groups are really popular in Korea.

Adding ITZY to this is just a crime, they have so many bangers and a stable popularity for so long, they’ve been good for so long that they cannot be called flopped if they dropped 1 or 2 mid comebacks, and about bnd they just debuted and they already won capable awards in prominent awards shows, &team is a japanese pop not even k-pop, so they cannot be included here and they're doing very well as a J-Pop group btw, the rest i agree with u

It hasn't even been a year since boynextdoor debuted. How can you call them a flop group? They are doing well. &ream is a Japanese boy group. I think they are quite popular in their target area. fromis9 is a very talented group with many talented vocalists. But I don't know why hybe is wasting their talents.

itzy and nmixx are still doing very well, it's not because you stopped listening to them that they are "flopping"

fromis_9 is the only group that didn't debut under a major company nor do they get privileges of being in a major company. I would LOVE to see how these "popular" groups wouldve done if they did nt have the luxury and privilege of debuting under a major company.
