The "Harry Winston Necklace" is just INCREDIBLE!!!! I CAN'T IMAGINE the price of this Piece!!!! And yes, Elizabeth Taylor LOVED fined Jewelry, but so do MOST women. Ms. Taylor just happened to be able to afford VERY EXPENSIVE JEWELRY!!!!

My favorite sapphire jewelry in that video are: the Hall Sapphire Necklace, the Blue Belle of Asia and the Bismark sapphire necklace.

Lovely collection. Although I would have included Princess Diana's sapphire engagement ring that Kate now wears. That's certainly one of the most famous sapphires around...

Thanks for feedback. I thought about it. And I have already included that sapphire ring into another "UK royals" video. From the perspective of "famous", you are right, it's really famous. But not so magnificent as other pieces in this video :)

It's a pity, but what I think was the most magnificent piece of sapphire jewelry no longer seems to exist. This was the 1909 Grand Duchess Vladimir sapphire tiara by Cartier. The 1911 painting of her in all her sapphires would be a sapphire lover's dream.

@@JewelleryPleasure Purchased by Queen Marie of Romania when the jewels were sold. There are pictures of her wearing it. She gave it to her daughter who later sold it back to Cartier - then it disappeared (possibly to be broken up).

Ahhh Sapphires. I'll always be partial to Sapphires. Who couldnt be? Sapphires are also my birth stone (September) Emeralds shall always be my favorite though. The Poor Emerald. Sapphires: The Envy of Emeralds. Hey I wonder if that's how they got their green color 🤔 😉

Imagine for a moment…Elizabeth Taylor’s enthralling violet colored eyes set against the Bulgari sapphire necklace and earrings. Continue that by setting their glare against her Bulgari emerald suite. No wonder it was said that her appearance at a Hollywood affair caused two separate traffic accidents!

the voice of the Slavic narrator is more than a little irritating. check if your voice box has "New Delhi housewife", that's a real humdinger.
