Got my 2024 F450 Limited mid May. Less than 1600 miles and the AC compressor goes out. An issue coming out of the Kentucky plant. I am 880 on the back order list with no delivery date estimated. And I live in LA, (lower Alabama) and here now in June - July summer HEAT

Please keep in mind that the truck rated for 40,000 pounds is the 23 F-450 Single cab High Output XL package. The base model of base models. And to have an 8000 pound payload is on the 350 dually ( can be a crew cab ). The 450 has a lower payload but makes up in towing.

F350 - F450... Per each Trim package lowers 450 Payload by 600-800lb when compared to same Trim of F350, not huge difference. The loas in Payload is the increased HD components of F450. The F350 has a higher Payload due to 14,000K legal cap... F450 is designed more capable, strongly derated, still more HD than F350, if legal limits were raised the F450 would have a higher Payload.. Both GREAT Trucks!

Price was a shock until I figured out that MacPhee Ford is in Canada. Canadian dollars, but unfortunately Canadian sales tax.

It’s about 107k in usd

At :28 you say it has an 8,000lb payload capacity, but then the door sill sticker says 4,822. Where did the 8,000 number come from?

Super-duty's can be specced to handle 8000 pounds max payload. A limited model with a crew cab is not the right configuration thus not having that max payload. When you start adding options and features, that reduces the overall carrying capacity of the vehicle.

Try buying one in Australia, then tell me its expensive......these trucks (the F150-450) are HALF the price in the USA. We still buy them here in OZ. Ford is now making a fortune over here, we got cash and we pay huge money for these trucks. ( I don't, its totally insane what we pay here). From our carsales site --- 2022 Ford F450 Platinum Auto 4x4 MY22 $344,990 Au ( $227000 US).......and we still buy them!!!!!!
