As a Veteran, this brings tears to my eyes. The first time returned from the ARMY, My Family and Friends were at the Airport to Great me. This was back in 1980.

Unless you have never been around our military, you've got no idea. My husband went to Vietnam 3 times. The last one was so bad! To this day he has nightmares! It was Trump who got him 100 percent disabled! This should have been done in 1970!!!!

I know how this feels. My grandson is a Marine, and due home week after Christmas. I know his Mom is waiting to hold and hug him and so am I. 💖

We have had two of our three Sons in the military. One Army Sargent first class in an Artillery unit. One deployment to Iraq and two in Afghanistan. My son in the Navy is now an Officer on a Destroyer. He is deploying next week. It is hard on those left behind.🇺🇦🇮🇱🇺🇸🫡🤙🏽👍🏽✌🏽😎

My husband was deployed 4 times in the first 5 years of marriage. He liked to surprise me a lot being a nurse he came onto my floor as s new patient , came into the er as a new patient had me called off my floor. Surprised me at the grocery store. The last deployment I had his commanding officer to let me know when he was coming home so i could surprise him for once.

Ty for your service my brother was in national guard in 2001 and went to Afghanistan to do some things but got back safely he is now retired from service and his kids are nearly grown up he brought honor to my family and made my grandfather very proud of him cause he too was in the service but his was navy during ww2 along with his sister being a nurse in ww2 both my great uncles were also in ww2 and everyone of them came home safely so those who join in any military or service that is actively protecting our nation in some way remember those who have gone before you and honor their bravery and strength to stand United against overwhelming odds and to return and survive for the next generation to pass their stories down to it makes those who are left behind in the end proud to be called their brothers, sisters wives, husbands,daughters, sons, and friends tryout their lives as we honor the ones who went before and conquered our enemies to keep our dreams and hope of a peaceful existence alive.

My husband spent 3 years in Vietnam! The last tour, he couldn't get over. He's still having nightmares! Sad! Trump got him 100 percent disability which he should have been diagnosed in 1970!!!
