@@tamyramarshall7966 Henry's head specially being last wasn't due to his importance, it was the impact from Carol. Seeing as she's been through this before and we know the type of person she can be if she wants vengeance and we saw just that. Her being a staple character in the show her connection to him made all the more sense and thus that climactic response from damn near everyone because boy let me tell you, when I saw that I said Alpha has no idea what she has done.

This scene left me so speechless, and I remember how quiet it was in the room when I watched this alone. They captured the suspense and the disturbing moment of seeing heads on pikes so well, the music made this scene 1000x better. You know a moment is captured perfectly when you react with shock and feel nothing but raw emotion. Such an excellent scene!

Probably It was an aesthetic choice made to make this charachter (wich didn't had much screen time till this event) more recognisible. Probably the same logic was used with the old lady with the bandana. Without these props, the audience could have a Hard time figuring out who It was.

The highway men actually hit me as one of the hardest deaths in this episode. They served on the promise of getting to watch a movie but they weren’t even in there when the movie was playing. They were outside protecting people they didn’t even know and in the end, that guy didn’t hesitate to charge in and give his life defending strangers. Him and the ex saviour together just threw their lives away trying to save others and it just hits me so hard.

This was a genuinely jaw dropping moment. The Walking Dead had dipped a bit in quality but I remember it building back up and this episode being a real high point. Hopefully it ends on a similar high level

This has got to be one of my most favourite scenes from the show. I really do think that it is one of the most horrifying and outright jaw dropping scenes that makes the viewer feel the terror and sadness each member of the group seeing the heads is feeling.

I legit holded back tears after that scene, Tara, Enid and Henry was really sad man

I swear the Whisperers deserve an Oscar for being the scariest and creepiest threat ever created in the history of TWD. They gave me chills right from the very beginning. And then, to see this episode and how they managed to extinguish so many of our favorite characters. Even Daryl was a little taken aback!

I liked him and Lydia together and they had so much focus on them. This truly shocked me and broke me. I immediately thought of Morgan too and how he would feel seeing that

I've been watching 'The Walking Dead' since premiere night Halloween 2010. So far there's only been three episodes that made me literally stand up I was so enthralled by the horror and tension of what I was seeing. Season 3, Episode 4; Season 7, Episode 1; Season 9, Episode 15. I've seen this clip three times today and each time it gives me chills. The music, the cinematography, the direction, all of it works together so masterfully to create an immediately iconic moment in the series. I love the true horror vibe of Season 9 altogether, really. This show will always be my #1 favorite.

It's also easier to deal with seeing that given that Rick tore the throat out of a guy that was going to allow a child to be raped. I'd call Rick's actions throughout the scene to both of those assholes wholly justified.

​@irishhotshot6765 that's why they spent all that time building Henry up as coral 2.0 and giving Enid her happy ending and Tara was just so chill and had been there since season 4, that's what made it hit hard in the show. In the comics though just one death destroyed everyone and that was rosita the show didn't have the guts to do that one, Ezekiel being a leader was surprising.

The last thing anybody should ever do is to take away Carol's son. Even in this brutal fashion. The Whisperers are in for a stone-cold treat. With a side-dish of Negan & Daryl.

Me and my mom started bawling when they showed Enid, Tara and Henry. The others were shocking but those broke our hearts for the characters, especially since we were still reeling over Jesus' death a few episodes earlier.

This is an iconic moment from the comics, and they recreated it so beautifully. This carries the same emotional weight that I felt when I first saw those pages in the comic.

The music made this scene way more chilling

Had to visit this clip after finishing the series yesterday. Glens and Abraham’s scene had me in rage and feel bad for Maggie. But this scene, I feel hit even harder for me. I’m a sucker for good audio and cinematography. The way this scene was shot and the mood of it all absolutely filled my body with dread. My seat became 1000lbs and I couldn’t move from pure dread and the hopelessness of it all. Seeing carol go through that. Seeing such a raw spectacle absolutely shook my core. When it panned to Ezekiel’s scene and his face I knew it was over. And so did he. I threw my glasses I was so upset man. This is the highlight of horror in the show for me. Very good clip. Great season and great show.

This is the moment carol realized you can’t fight alpha fairly, that’s why despite all the shit negan has done she was willing take the chance and let him out to kill alpha

I remember this season being full of hit or miss episodes especially since characters don't really act like real people anymore especially in the last seasons but this episode and the way this was shot and the music just ramps up with each reveal of who died was fantastic. sucks that the next season was when they had stormtroopers

It's interesting how Daryl knew exactly where Carol is looking at. Like she only looks at the heads the camera showed us.

He didn't know where exactly Carol was looking. The moment **he** saw Henry's head on the pike, Daryl's first instinct was to shield Carol from having to see her adopted son decapitated. Unfortunately, Carol had probably already spotted Henry by that point, so Daryl's gesture was in vain...

This Scene always gets me all the Time when Re-Watching The Walking Dead none of these Survivors didn’t deserve it especially Henry, Enid, Tara & Frankie like they are Characters who have Survived since Season 6 some have Survived since Season 8 honestly this just shows anybody can Die at any Moment no matter if it’s Fan Favourite or not and honestly guys it shook me to my core to know all are these Characters are gone now is well this is so Emotional and gets you every Time and gives so much from Alpha & Beta being such a feared and threatening Antagonists Duo together showing how they would take away anything from anyone and just said to myself they need to go so thank god Negan was there to finish of both of them what a Hero even after Killing Glenn

They done this scene so well, especially considering the majority of deaths were minor characters compared to the comics this still hit so hard, especially as they were too comfortable having the festival and there was always that underlying feeling something was going to go wrong

I like how Whisperer spell the ART OF DEATH using first letter of their name.

Just watched this scene for the first time last night I was blown away. Haven't had a scene like this in a while in a show that gave me goosebumps and shock.

Fans: Negan is so cruel killing Abraham and Glenn! Producers: hold my beer...

I cannot tell you the rage I felt, the sorrow I felt, the absolute instability I felt. I hated that this happened but damn it did I love it as well.

Enid and Tara being up there...was by far the worst for me :(

I’ve never reacted with so much emotion before on any show ever. I was scared for every reveal on who got killed and the last few ones really got to me

It's more disturbing when you realize that they were alive when their heads were being cut off, and I doubt the Wisperers had a guillotine to make a more humane job of it

Taras death was the one that got me the most in this scene. She was one of my favorites.

i remember after watching this episode running to my bedroom and sobbing 😭 esp when it was showing their last moments together fighting and struggling against the whisperers omg

One of the two most gut wrenching, heartbreaking scenes of all 11 seasons.

Just look at the flowers Carol.. look at the flowers..

It took me a few years to finish TWD. After Glenn, i just couldn't watch anymore. I've just started again and when i saw this scene, it easily jumped into my top 5 favorite CHILLING scenes of the whole show. Could you imagine the carnage if Rick the Prick and his son Coral were there to see that?

Now I just imagine what will be Carl's reaction when he sees Enid, if he was still alive

This scene was so dark in the comic and they nailed it in the show.

This scene and Negan’s introduction when he killed Abraham and Glenn left me shocked. Both times I couldn’t sleep, I still debate which one was worse

I know alot of y'all gonna be mad for this... but all this happened because the simp Henry wanted a girlfriend... saw Enid was unavailable and the rest was history when he met Lydia and decided that would be his rebound

When I first watched this I was kind of checked out. So initially I was just like woooooow over Enid, tara and Henry. But when I rewatched it, and realized the backstory of dj and Frankie and that they were saviors that had stayed with our group…finding out that the three road warriors ran up in to save everyone and everyone fought to stay alive….just a powerful scene all together and all those characters were a huge loss when I look at everything back. Walking Dead, the original, the GREAT…no one will ever do what they managed to. Even though bout half of us moved on seasons ago, the loyalty was always there. One of the best shows in history. Period.

But the reasoning behind this act makes it more disturbing as it wasn't payback or anything it was just because Alpha wanted to and to showcase her domain

henry’s death had me sobbing for at least a month 💔

When I saw this I was crying so hard Enid & Henry made me cry the most I didn’t think alpha would go this far

Tara was the one i felt the worst for out of everyone she was the kindest. They should have opened fire on Alpha day 1 first meeting they should have rained hellfire down on them. Just goes to show never hesitate to pull the trigger.

Chills to see this scene every time! I haven't seen such a disturbing and macabre scene since episode 7x01, when Negan smashed Abraham's head and then Gleen!

I remember watching this scene and gasping at every shot from Enid onwards.

I Never watched the walking dead but I remember walking into my Mom’s room and seeing this scene, 6 years later, It’s horrific to realize the tragic events of these people.

When people say stuff like "you still watch TWD? It's so bad now". Just simply show them this scene, everything about it is spectacular, the music, the cinematography and especially the acting. Holy Shit

It’s all the boring stuff that leads up to good scenes like this. Way too much filler and things that could be written out to push the plot forward quicker. I am surprised this scene happened in 9x15 and not the 16th episode for the finale. Usually they save big stuff like this for finales/premieres.

When people ask why I still watch the walking dead I show them regular scenes of eveeyome working together. Surviving. That’s the core of the show. Not senseless violence. If the only thing that drew you to the walking dead was death you was never watching for the right reasons. We watched because we rooted for our hero’s to be able to live normal again in this destroyed world and build a FUTURE.

When I was at this part of the comics, I don't know why but the song Don't Panic from Coldplay came to my mind when reading it, specially X-Men Apocalypse's version.

I stopped watching twd after season 7 episode 1. I continued to watch it again and I just watched this exact episode today, this gave me the most goosebumps I've ever had watching. THIS SCENE TERRIFIED THE FRICK OUT OF ME.

I rage screamed at Tara, Enid, and Henry being piked. Those hurt so much😢

This was one of the most horrifying scenes, I’ve ever seen.

the music was a great choice for this scene

This scene is so sad my heart broke for Carol when she saw Henry’s head.

if you look closely, they're are still moving, tha is the most evil of all the scene .
