I think its due to either: 1) Their song bhoom bhoom sounding very similar to an already popular song called mi mi mi by a russian girl group. Or 2) The supposed "disrespect" they show their senior groups such as when they won an award and never greeted their seniors.

I genuinely don't understand the point in leaving dislikes under a video. If you don't like it that much dont watch it, it's not that hard to exit out of a video 😂

-Crown and Dalla Dalla are basically just hated because they were the most successful debut songs -Zimzalabim and Fingertip are hated because the groups tried something new except cute/innocent or in RV case except BB/PAB. -Momoland always gets hate no matter what -Signal must be because ppl weren't agreeing for it to be SOTY 2017 -For Cherry Bullet I believe it must be cuz of the ads. I've noticed the same high dislikes on SF9 2020 mvs. -Dun Dun it's cuz of the whole 'Mia & Friends' -Correct me if I'm wrong,but Getting Closer was disliked by Carats themselves cuz the mv was uploaded in Pledis' channel.

My theory for why girl groups often get more hate than boy groups: (I posted this comment before but i think its relevant to this comment) its not a secret that like 80% of kpop fans are female, and even tho we like to think were blind to gender when it comes to being a fan, i think theres a slight difference in the way you stan someone of the same gender and someone of the opposite gender. Often you identify more with the people that have your gender. In the case of most kpop fans that gender is female. Thats not to say that girls cant identify with boys and the other way around, cuz thats definantly possible, and i truly see parts of myself in some male idols, its probably still easier to feel that kind of connection to people with the same gender. (This could be bullcrap, i'm not a psychologist, i'm just a dumb teenager) Thus, you see a boygroup you stan as people you admire 130% and identify with 100%, but you may see a girlgroup you stan as people you admire 100% and identify with 130%. which means, if youre a girl that gets jealous easily, and you are attached to a boygroup and another group threathens to be better, you see it as an attack to people you admire. But if youre a girl that gets jealous easily and youre really attached to a girlgroup, and another group threathenes to be better, you see it as an attack on people like you, you see it as a personal attack. I dont know bout yall but i'd get angrier when someone personally attacks me than when someone attacks people i look up too. So, in response to that "personal" attack you get angrier at the attacker, than you'd get a if he just attacked your idols. And if youre a girlgroup stan the group you see as a threat is likely also a girlgroup, and if youre a boygroup stan the group you see as a threat is likely also a boygroup, making the reaction towards girlgroups more hateful than the one towards boygroups. Hope this makes sense.

We are at the end of 2020 and I still don't understand why people hate 'Boy with luv' so much. I understand that it was something new and that it is something that not all people like, but that does not prevent the video from filling me with joy and the song from taking me out of my stupid bed to dance. So that wasn't the purpose of the song? The same with Idol, although I understand that in this case the song was a little louder and the video a little more extravagant. About Signal and Zimzalabim I don't understand either, both comebacks were bops and people should be more open to a bit more experimental concepts.

Broo, girls groups receive A LOT of hate and dislikes for no reason, if you compare boy and girls groups by the fame they have (like TWICE, Red Velvet, and Blackpink with BTS, or Itzy with TXT cause the fame of them all is almost equally) and then you compare the porcentage of dislikes is insane, I hate people even more now.

The FANS themselves being koreaboo and shipping their faves randomly even though most of the idols are friends. I don’t care if they’re having relationship as long as they live like us do.

So obvious the dislikes come from immature kids trying to make their own liked group look better and their competition look bad. Interesting that Dreamcatcher had a very low percentage of dislikes.....they are no threat to the mainstream top girl groups. So no need for the teenyboppers to give them any dislikes.

Exactly. I think i might even have to say that girl group stans are the ones disliking girl group MVs because of the competition (like blinks disliking Twice's MVs that back in 2016 Korean blinks had to apologise to Korean Onces.)

the gap between girl groups and boy groups make me sick to my stomach I’m a carat, we had a pretty bad time during Getting Closer, a lot of Carats wre disliking the video so Pledis would post the MV on SEVENTEENs channel, not their own... And it was only 1%... and some girlies in this list have 15% dislikes its crazy

Only queens would spend 9 hours to give us quality content. We stan

the dislikes has little to no meaning in my opinion, we can see that it is more about hating the group then not liking songs (bts and blackpink having high dislikes on relatively good songs) it is more accurate to look at the likes of a song to maybe have an idea about if it's actually liked by listeners or not, because nobody likes it if they didn't enjoy it and if the likes are lower than what that group usually gets it means the song is not that good. i wished that k-pop community would be more respectful and open to one another. the hate is really frustrating...
