Almost like there is an infinite amount of things that can go wrong in a game this complex (balance/bugs) Riot is not god Almighty

“Viewers seeing the same champions picked every game” That is always the case. Lately it’s Zeri, Ksante, Skarner, Corki, Azir, Vi, etc.

even fearless draft runs to this issue. the only saving grace of this is that fearless allows for far more champions to be shown on screen since at a best of three by the third game you have 30 champions banned. lck academy teams have some very nice matches and drafts due to that. i really recommend looking in any fearless draft league. i hope they implement it in more major leagues and maybe stuff like msi and worlds. it would make for a very interesting meta since so many champs must be used. in a best of 5 even in a 3-0 you have seen 40 champions picked or banned. imagine a close best of 5 with 46 bans before the first pick of the game. actually putting great pressure to both the coaches and the players to become all rounders instead of running the same old back each game.

How about banner of command split push. Riot removed the item only to bring it back as hullbreaker

When rune Thunderlord came out and all 10 players in the lobby took it no matter which champion....

Ah yes, how could I forget the triple cleaver Jarvan IV, when he would flag and Q you and it already shredded a good chunk of your armor, plus the three cleavers activating at the same time by the Q alone, followed by his auto empowered with Martial Cadence passive immediately sending your HP to Narnia. Fun times.

I think that its sad that things have to occur in professional play in order for them to actually do something about it. At least, most of the times.

Fiora full tiamat , z rod, banner of command, ryze full rod of age, the old jungle item the lantern things from s3, you used it as a ward, 2 people with this item could solo nash at lv 6, the old tabi boots who have % dodge, the recall option we had before, almost everyone took the homeguard thing, fast regen and go to lane fast, DFG to nuke people, the old force of nature from season 1/2 , insane hp regen, couldnt kill tank with nash buff, the good old heat of gold, philosopher stone and the ap one... anything was op at some point if played well

I've played league since j4 release in season one, and I have had the displeasure of enduring every single bs meta on this list.

Fact on ardent censer, it was viable and op before most of its changes, practically all season 7. It received buffs so that players would spot them on the patch and actually try the item, it started seeing play near end of season, the players were just sleeping on it. Its something the balance team does somewhat regularly, phreak talked about this in one of his patch breakdown videos not soo long ago

Yeah man. i playedit before. it was so broken. I was kinda mad when everyone knew it and they had to nerf it. ADC healing of the damage was insane

It was just now I learned that meta actually was an acronym and what those words that made it up were.

All I can think of is when talon and leblanc had silence. Also whenever thunderlords decree was first released. Feral flare.

Old Locket of the Iron Solari used to base on bonus hp. Old Stoneplate active increase max hp by 100% if there are more than 3 enemy nearby. So if you stack hp, running into the middle of the enemy, Stoneplate then Locket, you can effectively double your whole team health for a fight.

armpen meta was disgusting to play every game you have talon/zed/vi etc who oneshots players after farming 1-2 items It was absurd

Poppys are still solo killing fioras. She can't Dash to get passive procs, Poppy does good %HP, and typically builds anti-heal.....

zzrot? you talkin about the item that was bugged and trash for so long that riot removed it so players wouldnt grief by building it? the one that was completely bugged for 4 seasons and every patch in the game randomly would make it bug out even more? yeah i guess ur right it was pretty broken

@@KaloKross you obviously don’t remember having that with banner of command in the sidelanes which would just ruin someone’s base during a set time of league. Rest of the time it was trash though

Pretty OP tbh drop zzrot halfway through top side then buff the caster/siege then push or clash on bottom, 30 sec later their top getting wreck while stalling them at bottom. 😂
