I visited there and climbed down to the beach last August. It really was amazingly beautiful! But, no joke, I almost died (or at least had heat stroke) on the way down! I knew nothing about it before going and didn’t expect it to be so difficult. Very steep and no shelter from the sun. I definitely recommend going down as early as possible in the morning to avoid the sun beating down on you and you might regret it if you just have sandals on!! In any case, it truly is a gem of natural beauty!!

The walk down to the beach was fun, but on the way back up there was a girl who passed out from heat stroke, and me and these 2 Austrian blokes had to help carry her back up! I’ll never forgot that experience, i never sweated like that in my life..

You should go during the day, when the tide is low, people swim during the day and the afternoon. It’s beautiful! And then climb up just before sunset and watch the sunset from the cliff. I promise it is magnificent!

Went there last week made it halfway but twisted my toe & climbed back up....but loved the whole experience....not to mention it is one of the beautiful beaches I've ever seen

That beach looks great. We are in Bali for a month so I hope we make it. I always watch how tourists respect, empathise and treat the locals. You guys were very positive and understanding of the locals. I like that and they probably like you.

Been there 3 days before as a solo traveler. Really scared at frist while walking down. Going upstairs is such exhausting yet awesome adrenaline experience. Truly miss this place

I honestly thought I was going to die when I went down to Kelingking Beach. It was literally insane and I couldn't believe that I did it but it was also such an amazing experience at the same time

i went there last week, went to Diamond Beach, that was scary enough. Well done to you both for doing the T Rex cliff beach, beautiful but omg scary as hell

Bali is amazing but loved Nusa Penida just as much😁

Last time i was there, a girl decided to go swimming on that beach. She seemed like she were an experienced swimmer and could handle the huge waves quite well when she confidently dove into the face of an incoming wave. A few minutes later we saw her crawling on the beach, her face was bleeding while trying to get back up to us as we’re standing by the trees. Luckily se was fine, just got slammed really hard by a wave so her nose started bleeding. Im never going swimming there!

Definitely wouldn't suggest swimming there at all or going during high tide. The waves were massive and so strong. But a beautiful beach to look at and walk along the beach. So glad that girl was okay 🙏

I saw two people getting dragged out barely conscious. They had to get stretchers down past all the crowds on those stairs.

Gréât vidéo ! Thanks to you guys to make Nusa Penida more famous. Just one IMPORTANT thing, DON T go for a swim on this beach, known to be very dangerous even if there is not wave, curent can be VERY strong. And already many many deadly accident happened there.

When you go there, go during the day or afternoon when the tide is low. People swim there in the afternoon. Not in the morning. And then climb back up before sunset. And watch the sunset from the cliff. I swear it’s beautiful!

Welcome and thank you to Bali Indonesia, if you are interested in completing a mission or opportunity, make sure you also try to climb one of the volcanoes in Indonesia because every volcano you see is the biological mother of Indonesia (I recommend at least 2 volcanoes). I hope that your trip to Indonesia will give you an interesting and special impression that will always be remembered in your memory and good video. Only giving recommendations, if you are unsure about climbing a volcano in Indonesia it is better not to do it (My message). This is a list of volcanoes in Bali (About 23) : Batur, Agung, Prapat Agung, Batukaru, Lesung, Catur, Merbuk, Pohen, Mundi, Abang, Penulisan, Seraya, Sidemen, Banyu Wedang, Kutul, Lesong, Silang Jana, Patas, Badung, Sengiang, Kelatakan, Mesehe, Lempuyang and Ngandang. Wow, I felt like I’m going to fall when you guys going down. The hack with the stairs, very scary, the rope should be available from top to bottom, how ever they tied on.

Don't go down there without water, because you have to climb back up.

There is new harbour in sanur there is no need to get wet,and less chaotic

I got up in 30 minutes with barefeet and I'm 47. Hard climb and very exhausted/ dehydrated but not too hard. Also you can swim there and the water is great. Cools you right down. Just plan ahead and go when the swell is small.

My country is really beautiful, isnt she ? 😊. We have volcanos, beachs, mountains, rivers, lakes, waterfalls etc. We also have 25.000 flora species, 400.000 fauna species, 700 tribes and 16.671 islands. So enjoy your trip in Indonesia. 😉

We organised with a guy we found in Ubud while walking the street. There are many stores that offer these trips and can be booked at any time. You can go to the pier yourself to book a ticket; however, we wouldn't be able to say if the boat has space or not. Hope you have a great trip😊

It's called Kelinking Beach on Nusa Penida. You can get day tours to Nusa Penida through any tour operator, but we would highly suggest staying on Nusa Penida for a few days and going to Kelinking Beach early to avoid the crowd.

I broke my ankle while swimming at the beach 2 months ago, waves were so big and they dropped me onto the beach from a few metres up onto my ankle. Had to hike all the way back up because there was no other way out and almost passed out because of the heat

I'll be there in a couple of weeks, so glad you showed footage of getting down to the beach at T Rex. I know now not even to attempt it as I can not trust my dickie knee to not flare up and if that happens I can not walk at all. Guess I will only be going down part way for pics then going back up. A bit disappointing I won't be able to set foot on that beautiful beach but I have to respect my limits.
