Unfortunately that type of scene wouldn't have worked in the book considering Jack's supposed to be like 6'4, 250lbs. It's why his last name's "Reacher", bc he's tall, and he can reach for the top shelf. It'd be hard for him to blend in. Twas a bit disappointing discovering that the movie depiction was quite different than the book. The whole name, man...

So I'll state for the record, I still liked the movie. I wasn't trying to be a buzzkill of a contrarian. All I meant to say with my og reply was, I couldn't really see it as a Jack Reacher movie. I did watch it recently, and I quite liked it. The introduction of his character was pretty cool and the ending too. I liked how it all finished in the climax and he puts all the pieces together, enacting justice on all the evildoers. (Still confused on the realism of the ending killshot he got tho.) Idk how it stacks up with the show but I think they're both good in their own right(movie might have an edge). Never watched the sequel tho. You guys should check out the show; it wasn't bad.

The attention to detail is phenomenal, and while I don’t know how much work he does on the soundtracks (if any at all), if he doesn’t have a hand in it personally he’s using people who manage to seem to find the most obscure and yet relevant music to set the scene.

The one where Batman actually fights Superman, and this warehouse scene, which I think is even better. Affleck caught some shit for his role as Batman, but I felt like he was one of the best actors to fill the role. Affleck is 6'4 and built, and this provides a physical presence that is unmatched by others who donned the famous cowl and cape. I hate the whole "If you kill you're exactly the same as them" concept they keep bringing up in nearly ALL Marvel movies and shows. It's so stupid. You kill people with evil intent to prevent innocent people, as well as yourself, from being killed, robbed or injured. DareDevil, Luke Cage, Spiderman, the list goes on and on and it's annoying as fuck. This is why I disliked Luke Cage and love The Punisher.

@@kyleheaser351boombaby Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, The Teen Titans, etc. While all of them have killed, DC has a bit of a boy scout complex when it comes to their heroes. In fact, I would argue that if you actually looked at body counts from DC and Marvel, Marvel heroes have flirted with killing far more often than DC. When Spider Man decides to kill, very few things can stop him, and he can be fucking brutal.

I guess those deleted scenes never made it into the final cut to keep up with the mainstream narrative! The should make another part where he goes after the most brutal slave owners of all! The Arab Muslim trade. The used to cut off the boys testicles and watch them bleed to death so they couldn’t breed… Amongst other things too disgusting to mention.

That crate is pretty heavy, much heavier than the guy batman slung the crate at. Theoretically the crate bouncing off his face doesn't keep up with physics. If it were realistic, the crate would have just crushed the guy against the wall.
