Killing that crazy doctor was much more fun, you go in dressed as a patient on a bed and as he removes the cloth to examine, you pierce his throat, that sequence was so cool. Syndicate had some really cool ways to set up for specific missions (assassinations).

@@TheJoker-dj4yq First of all, calm down it’s not that deep. Secondly, Female Eivor IS the canon one, same as Kassandra is canon. And also Eivor wasn’t the only reincarnation that was genderflipped. Not to mention the option “let the animus choose” makes Eivor female and Havi/Odin male when playing the Asgard/Jotunheim missions. Which also makes that the option people should pick if they want a canon playthrough

Jacob was honestly the most unhinged protagonist of AC. He didn’t want to follow the Creed, he didn’t really care about the Brotherhood. He just wanted to have fun. His side of the story showed us something different from what previous protagonist’s stories have shown us. I could write a 10 page essay on why Jacob is a good character and why I love him so much.

They really messed up the new games. Not saying they aren't fun, but the elements that they removed totally go against what an AC game is supposed to be. Unity was probably tops when it comes to the ultimate AC experience and Syndicate was definitely decent. That combat took forever though.

The idea is not bad, just that maybe as many other modern assassains creed it would have been better received if it was an independent title, and apparently if his sis didnt have to fix every mess he makes or so said a review among other negative points, plus it seems he wants to be a kass brecker unhinged kind of character yet doesnt get the same results maybe because of sth, idk. I was doubting whether to give it a chance or not, as i like stories like purple hyacinth where old london, crime and assasains/hitmen are a thing but from the reviews i am hesitating. I am new to the AC saga, i started 4 of the games, i finished one(ezzio n1), paused 1(ezzio n2), and now i am currently playing blackflag and altair's. So far so good altair is giving me edgy emo vibes but i like they call him out about it and try to make him pay, however i believe in character development and i am enjoying the game so far so looking foward for more.

I miss Jacob Frye. He was a fun character to play as. Great sense of humor too.

@@mr.crowjo_3933 all the investigation mission was done by him so he is smarter than he looks, actually in the game evie always make fun of his decisions like creating a gang or having fun or action during the missions but those are the actual fun parts of the whole game and evie eventually join him and his gang.

Either Altair killing the monk, or trying to attack Roberto without involving Malik and his brother Connor did not cause collateral damage, he acted stealthily, and his victims were reported.

How do you replay Syndicate? There’s not multiple save files and I really don’t feel like deleting my 100% save. I’d love to replay it but I don’t know how. Yes I know you can replay missions in the progress tracker or whatever it’s called but you can’t replay all of the missions that way and it’s just not quite the same as restarting a new save is anyway.

I miss when ac had missions like this - it made the world feel so much more alive than just random npcs

Jacob really carried this game. He had character, funny lines, a risk taking attitude, charisma when it counts. I think the whole siblings character swap thing was a fail though it broke immersion when one character dissappears and another spawns in

Honestly I've been playing it the ONLY 2 things I don't like that much is one the parkour was trimmed down but it's not awful and I've been told the story is meh but I'm REALLY gonna look into these characters maybe some redeeming side mission story's? Either way also the combat isn't that awful

I remember when I first got this game. Every day I'd go home, it'd be raining. I had my PS4 set up in our sun room, basically a room covered in windows. Just hearing the sound of the rain and seeing the droplets hit the window was so comforting and reminds me of how times were much simpler.

Sprinting down the corridor to assassinate your target looking like a steampunk cosplayer. Very stealthy

Jacob's the hammer, Evie's the scalpel. Both get the job done, but either can get it done differently.

I mean is he really a hammer? If you play it correctly only the target dies (and the unique kill gets incapacitated and knocked out) in every Jacob assassination and aftereward he gets out clean and unnoticed. It's just that since Evie has no assassinations in his game her "actions" [she doesn't make any] have no consequences.

Dunno about that, I still play black flag tho Started it like few months ago through cloud gaming, purshased it when it was on sale Now I got gaming laptop and continue playing it, I have almost all of the updates on both, Edward and Jackdaw (I think that's how name of the boat is spelled) One of best AC titles out there (especially I enjoy it since I enjoy pirate themed games. Now is Sea of Thieves in sale and I wonder if it's worth for that price)

I would have liked it more like Hitman to be honest, especially the back mission from Syndicate was a bit of a disappointment

I love how Jacob just got to the point!! Literally!! (Oh, just shut up!!).

I wish I lived in a world where a man, who has a big dagger stabbing his throat and dying while gargling loudly is very silent to people around him

Syndicate is the closest we got to a truly AC stealth game with fun assassination opportunities

The most badass assassination is when Ezio kills Uberto in AC2 and shouts "It's me. Ezio Auditorè Da Firenze. I'm still here". Gives me chills every single time

The different approaches to assassination in AC Unity and Syndicate are AWESOME. The best without any doubt. Stealth before Unity was garbage and from origins you don't even one shot anymore (and I love every AC game). I wish they will came back to Unity gameplay

There is no sense of stealth at all, like some of the stealth missions litteraly have over 70 guards packed in one area and idk how it's possible to get inside grab something and slip out without getting spotted at all, as soon as one guy spots you everyone in the building spots you, they have more range with guns and eyesight, you can't select hidden blade it's automatic, you can't assassinate when you throw smoke bombs in combat which is totally bullsh1t, the guns suck you can't aim in combat it just quickshots the nearest guy, when you do aim the crosshair sometimes goes in front of you while the camera is directly behind arno's head so I can't see who I'm shooting at, the first shot he doesn't even pull out his gun so I'd click fire then a second delay then he pulls out his gun and shoots but by that time the target has moved and I can't do anything about it, and some guards can dodge any quickshot even at point blank range every single time which is unfair, the phantom blade doesn't one shot everyone like ezio's crossbow so if I don't manage to get a head shot which sometimes isn't always possible some enimies will detect me and alert everyone else. The combat sucks everyone except for the basic enimies almost always block your first two hits which is slow and stupid, you get shot left right and center and can't do sh1t about it due to human sheild being removed and dodging doesn't work, you can't run and assassinate most guards cos they'll detect you and start combat before you have a chance to stealth kill, you have to be really close to be able to air assassinate them like I can't do that when on a regular roof and the guy is on the street, due to having only one hidden blade it's hard to tell if I'll be able to double kill them and sometimes it doesn't especially with air assassinate which is annoying af. Unity gameplay is sh1t but the story is just interesting enough and I want to play the entire story so I'll keep playing.

@@read6301 It doesn't tho. Unity has the worst and most boring combat out of them all. Sure some of the older games are too easy but it's fun and fast paced, you can clear out entire groups being an unstoppable 1 man army like assassin's are supposed to be, you can't do that in unity it just takes too long and doesn't look or feel cool at all. And I can use stealth extremely well in every other ac game but just not unity, no matter what you say you cannot deny that unity still has bugs and is broken. Then in the Ezio trilogy there's always an ideal route to follow, guards have paths and rotations you can easily identify, black flag has rope darts and whistling and I'll pull guys into bushes to kill them or pull snipers off their posts so they fall to their death, rogue you can lure them easily but it's mostly the same as black flag, syndicate you can kidnap people right out of groups and lead then to a bush then kill them, you can hold a guard hostage and just walk straight to the target, origins has op bows and tall grass everywhere. Unity Is just poorly made, sure they fixed some bugs but a lot of them still remain, like smoke bombs not stunning them, guards seeing you through walls, snipers having hive minds so if one sees you every single sniper even ones who are hundreds of meters away and behind other rooves can also see you (they don't have magnifying scopes either), guards have insane hearing, guards ignore cherry bombs 9/10 even when thrown in earshot, beserk blade attacks barely put dents in the amount of guards that are around and after every rogue guard attack they immediately go back to their posts as if nothing happened so luring guards out of view from other guards or out of the way of your objective is pretty damn hard then when they do investigate noises or bodies they just go right back to their post without a second thought. I don't understand why unity fans say it's the best when it's really not, at best it's an unfinished and unpolished game that was released too early and was never completely fixed or polished, but most fans go "wow cool parkour moves" as if that's the only thing that matters in a game. But gameplay aside the story sucks, forgettable and shallow characters, Arno is boring and a simp while also being a French copy of Ezio, same irresponsible but charming teen boy personality and the same start with both of them sent to deliver a message and both of their tragedies struck while they were out delivering letters.

No, for me the best assassination goes to ( In Ac unity, the mission confession, arno is about to kill his first templar gabriel sivert, they're going to talk about negoitation in small cabin, and let them do small talk until arno say "As u wish monsiuer" then u press assassination bottom" ) do u know, why i like this assassination scene, cause this is how u make your own assassination cutscene

@@imamfn you can even do things like finish the constable route halfway so the guards are rallied and ready to take on the fakes, shrinking the restricted area, then going in from a different route to make your exit easier.

Where's the badass in that tho, Pretty sure there's a lot better.
