if you go to config and type in runelite. There is a setting so you can receive notifications even when runelite is focused. Alot of times when im afking il be watching a video or something and forget to click off. Finding that was a lifesaver.

Great method. Personally I just use the built in GOTR Plugin. As soon as the game starts I start mining near the pool/tables, tab out and play whatever other game I'm playing, and when I heard the windows notification (telling me there's a portal spawnsed) tab in, run into portal, stock up, craft, hand in (with a weak cell if it wasn't Fire/Death/Blood) and then back to afk mining. It's basically the same method as yours but with 15-30 seconds more AFK per game. Gone from 88-91 in the last 3 days while working!

Nice guide, def going to use this. I think I’ll add combo runes though, I think with combo runes even if you don’t have colosal you’ll get the points I think.

you do not get a lot, its more for just afking while getting mining and rc xp. you get like 1 point a game lol. if you want points def just play normally

Try opening a quest interface instead, worked for me

So I can just get 150 points then just afk doing mining then I get that RC xp drop?

Only works if there's enough people actively trying to win the gotr instead of leeching with this method.

so when i make my first set of runes do I go back to mini or finish off all m y fragments?

if you just want to afk, do around 1 invy/enough to get 150 points then start mining afk. if you want more xp and points then use all your fragments, but i would use another guide for that method

@@dieman482 no this guide is not for points, its just a way of afk training runecrafting. by "points" i mean while in game the numbers in the top left. once at 150 you get an xp drop at the end. will get around 1 reward search point per game

Right now I only have medium and small rune pouches, have done no RC basically, only lvl 27 through quests. Still have to do lunar diplomacy too lol Should I even bother with this?

nah you can play the mini game how its supposed to be played if you want tho, def better exp and more loot rolls. this is just for pure afk if you want to watch a movie or shower lol

From what I gather you need 150 points with no pouch this is 2 or 3 inventories. This is worth it 100 % if you cannot be bothered to play the game. Full focus you get much more points but you have zero afk time. It depends what you want.

Lmfao once you have the outfit, needle and lantern this is actually a goated way to train RC

@@OSRSnChill zeah is ALREADY very afk; to the point where you dont need a method that's MORE afk, because zeah is already VERY afk. unless you're getting more xp/hr or similar then it's not worth it because zeah is already VERY AFK. what arent you getting?

Zeah is more afk and more xp slash money per hour pretty sure. But to get to zeah you gotta start somewhere lol.

Good thing this garbage idea got nerfed into the ground. Glad to see people no longer getting XP for sitting on their ass mining the entire time.
