Mosquito String figure - step by step

How to do the Mosquito or the Fly string figure, step by step. Shown from the user's point of view. This is a cute and easy string game to make. The activity featured in this video is traditionally a middle school activity (age 13+).
Steps:
Start with the string over each thumb.
Place both strings behind your left palm
Use your right pinky to pick up both strings from between your left thumb and pointer
Use your left pinky to pick up both strings from in front of your other pointer
Move the palm strings over your hand to the front
Drop your left pinky and right thumb, gently pull to create the mosquito
While the mosquito is flying, smack it to surprise your friends!

If you want the mosquito to disappear when you clap yor hands, release both pinky strings instead of one thumb and one pinky.

I know another way to do it. Get to cats whiskers and drop the pinkies and smack it!

Why don't you try it yourself then, see if you could do that without using the thumbs...
