A compilation of my stock footage clips showing the life cycle of the mosquito Culex pipiens - eggs, larvae, pupae, males & female hatching. Male Culex pipiens feed on nectar from flowers, females feed on blood from mostly bird hosts.
Filmed on a Panasonic Lumix GH4 camera using Sigma and Nikon macro lenses.

    I always wondered how they could live in filthy water but that explains it that little tube breath regular air. If only we could block those tubes.
