Mosquito Lagoon/Indian River/New Smyrna Beach/Edgewater Florida KAYAK FISHING

Спорт

Today I’m taking you on a field trip! Let’s fish the Mosquito Lagoon for the first time together. Mosquito Lagoon spans the central east coast of Florida. We’ll launch at Menard-May park in a city called Edgewater, Florida which is just south of New Smyrna Beach. On the northern end, this water way combines the Indian River and the Mosquito Lagoon itself.
You’ll really enjoy this trip as it has everything from beached ships, clear water, dolphins on the prowl, and of course, a cornucopia of fish. Enjoy the sights, scenes, and the fishing, as you come along and kayak fish the Mosquito Lagoon with me.

    do you leave your cameras running all day, also how do you have them powered? Nice video

  • @KayakFishingAddict

    @KayakFishingAddict

    2 жыл бұрын

    Almost, but not really. The short is that I use a remote control that's on my wrist that is sync'd to the front and back cameras. I film at 2.7K and tend to film in 10 minute segments. So, are they constantly filming, yes. But not continuously. The reason? If I don't want to use the last 10 minutes of footage, I stop the cameras, and then restart the recording. If I do want to use that footage (e.g. I caught a fish) then I "mark" that footage, stop the cameras, then restart the recording. The ~10 minute segments keeps the file sizes smaller, allows me to bulk throw out footage, and thus helps to optimize post production time. I power them with a nocqua battery that also powers my fish finder. My whole camera setup is covered in this video - kzread.info/dash/bejne/m4Kq0NJupbG1lag.html
