I love the way the European countries build models they all are so cool to look at at also get some inspiration here in US to do the same thanks for posting and also great music

These mason model shows are intense! I'm 50, I've been modeling WW2 stuff almost my whole life & can say I'm pretty good at it, but I'm humbled by what I see, cause these models put my abilities to shame! Thanks for sharing.

I have been building armor kits for 60 yrs. and I am totally stunned by the work these guys can do, in a word "incredible"!.........

I have always felt that when attending a Model Show/Competition, the "Swap Meet" was where the savings was. One could easily purchase full/partially built kits or unused kits (although missing parts was a guarantee) for your next "Experimental/Smash-up" creation! I sadly have not attended one of these shows locally for over 15yrs. My OCD makes it very difficult for even the simplest model build, but I am getting better!

More and more manufacturers seem to be joining the hobby, so good to see.

Just a thought. If and when the zombie apocalypse happens, and all people are gone. Hobby shops are the first I will raid. All the models, tools and supplies. These are all beautiful model and well deserve any awards they may get. However, I wish there was a category for the duffers like me that enjoy the hobby but do not have the time or resources to create these replicas. Average models are not even shown in the reviews. How many have been run off because they did not make a beautiful life like diorama on the first try, or eve a second try? If model companies really want to expand that seams like a very good market to open up better, by showing average looking out of the box models. It is not that difficult to make criteria for a less perfect category.

I reckon they makw some fine models, although I have never built one of them, yet. Personally, though, until Russia gets the fck out of Ukraine and pays back all the war damages, there's no way I'm going to buy *anything* made in Russia, let alone their models. I buy ICM models instead: fine stuff made in Ukraine.

Now, I find people like you oddly fashinating: you seem to support a regime that has invaded a neighboring, U.N. recognized, sovereign country and when that regime is met with (obvious) hostility, you play the victim and you're accusing the other of "russophobia". Am I russophobe? You can bet yer @ss I am! I'm not prone to make friends with a country that lobs 1000kg warheads on schools, hospitals and apartment blocks...loots, rapes, kidnaps kids and commits war crimes and that threatens to nuke half of the world on a daily basis. Conversely, I support a Nation that has been brutally attacked and I believe that its citizen-soldiers who are defending it and are defending their homes and loved ones are not gods or deities, but they are certainly superheroes. But you've got to know that my russophobia began on 24 Feb. 2022 and it will likely end when russia leaves Ukraine's 1991 int'l recognized borders. I don't care if the russian people agrees to become North Korea 2.0, though I do damn care if russia decides to invade its neighbors following the delusions of a thug that thinks he's the reincarnation of Peter the Great and/or Stalin. As I recall, NATO bombed Serbia ON UNITED NATIONS' MANDATE because the Serbian government at the time had begun the worst ethnic cleansing and slaughter of civilians in Europe since the end of World War 2. I still feel ashamed that the European Union didn't have the willl and balls to intervene and PREVENT that tragedy and that the international community still had to rely on American bombs to stop the war and the massacres. You ask if Serbia is a country for me...I have nothing against Serbia even though it seems that its government is leaning on pro-Russian positions. Whether they want to become Putin's next lapdog along with Belarus is none of my business. But it becomes if Serbia was to start a new war in the former Yugoslavia instead of using diplomacy to fix the problems that I know are still there. Look, I was also in Moson last weekend and the thought that maybe Russian and Ukrainian modelers were killing each other in the trenches of the Donbas instead of being there having fun and talking modeling over some beers was always in the back of my head. But I also saw two modeling clubs, one Serbian and one Croatian, congratulating each other on their contest results... and that gives me a glint of hope. Peace. Over and out.

8:22 ... I feel uncomfortable to see presentations with a political agenda in such a world nation friendly exhibition. Especially when there will be a Russian audience around, even though I am not a Russian. I hope that the presenter "David & Goliath" will stop tainting such an interesting exhibition into a political one. Why not present a devastating scene of the eastern Ukrainian civilian areas during the 2014 era, if he really needs to...?
