Fond Childhood memories of here from 1958 1960 and1962. Lovely to see and sad as well. I can see the original bits and the modernised parts. What's it like now I wonder. Is it used for anything? I still have my "Slane" Butlins Badge.

I think whoever buys Mosney should definitely re open it as a family holiday destination, completely revamp it with new Modern accommodation, maybe add a hotel to the site , and new attractions, I'm sure it would be successful, I'd definitely go back . Just modernise the whole site.

The main reason why Butlins is currently for sale is the limited number of sites left in the great empire. Whoever buys Butlins should consider buying this site. The infrastructure is there for a great resort to be created once more.

I'm confused, isn't this still being used to house immigrants?
