​@@ErmmmActually Nah the new one has many advantage over the old one. Crit build is good against squishy heroes but it can be countered by blade armor by tanks. The trinity build on the hand has lifesteal, cdr, high atk spd, and can literally melt tanks.

Speed build is better overall.

Essentially when moskov uses his first skill, the penetrating basic attacks deal more dmg than the direct basic attack. Also his passive has slightly higher penetrating dmg if my memory is correct. So its not crits as some of you may be confused on why the crit dmg text is there when he used gs. Also, dhs is seperate from basic attacks so blade armor doesnt deal much dmg but on crit builds, blade armor reduces the crit dmg while dealing dmg back based on the dmg recieved pre dmg reduction so against blade armor trinity is better. Edit: his basic attacks that penetrate is actually considered as crit so haas claws works even if he has golden staff

Ok, but how do we actually counter the trinity build though? It's so frustrating as a tank player as you would naturally be at high HP and thus benefitting the trini build. Then they add malefic roar for the cherry on top 😭. Any thoughts would be highly appreciated.

Well his penetrate will activate when there is an/are enemy behind the target, a bit waste build if he only go solo lane (golden staff+haasclaw build)

Flat PEN and PEN% are seperate stats. Flat PEN basically ignores X amount of defense. If you had 30 PEN, dealt 100 dmg and target has 50 defense, then you'd deal 80 dmg. But if you had no pen, you'd deal 50 dmg. If you had 50% PEN, in same scenario, you'd deal dmg while ignoring 50% of their defense

*PLEASE READ* *Fun fact* : the atk speed build (or the trinity ark speed build) is good for squashing high sustain heroes especially tanks *Another fact* : it shows here the atk speed build can squash the layla with a blade armor cause it has less damage which means the damage reflection from the blade armor is low that's why moscov can resist til the tree layla are down *In short* : Atk speed is good for high sustain/HP heroes but if the enemy is not high sustain/Hp i recommend to you to do a critical build. *Edit* : or you can just mixed it if you want...

Golden staff build for tanky enemy team, crit build for squishy enemy team

There's no way that layla is wearing 6 blade armors since moskov has the healing reduction debuff.

Imo crit is when the dmg is higher than it supposed to be when hitting an enemy. But if we are talking about heptaseas, it is an extra dmg, not an increased dmg. Js my opinion.

Explain the combo of golden staff and hasclaw. What do you want extra speed from that crit ?

My opinion mix the trinity and crit like corrosion scythe for the slow and use the talent weakness finder berseker for crit dhs or haas( if opponent are not tanky haas if tanky dhs ) great dragon spear or sea helberd( if opponent is tanky and has great spell vamp or life steal sea helberd and good combination for berseker and dhs but if not tanky just use great dragon spear for damage) and malefic roar its just my opinion it make opponents attack speed and speed slower than usual just my opinion

i think the reason is bcause of the damage they deal critical deals more dmge thats why the damage u receive is high since critical damage is higher than attackspeed damage thats why i think its better to use attackspeed if ur enemy has a higher hp and defense and critical if not and critical is better for finishing squishy hero but if the enemy got so much cc or slow effect skills then use the attackspeed build to spam his frst skill to keep distance

Yes because the blade armour reflects back 25% of the damage received. Critical build has more physical damage so that's why it sends back more damage. And its not because of demon hunter sword.. because technically Haas claw gives more lifesteal than demon hunter sword. Its because he's using BOD in first build.. so more damage

Crit: for attacking soft hero Speed: for attacking hard hero (tank or fighter)

That's not crits, that's his penetrating ability, it just makes the number looked sized up it's not actually crits

I dont think anyone playing layal would buy that armor for dmg reflection/deflection.
