Bought an all matching never issued Mosin nagant with a hex receiver made in 1934 complete with everything in the crate for 89.99, best 90 bucks I ever spent.

Crazy how much they've gone up. I keep seeing them for $550 on average. Got this one for $325 thinking Im never going to see another one for that price. Hell it was the only milsurp I saw out of 12 different shops.

Love that game. Wish they put the iron sighted version of the mosin in Zombie mode.

@@Skully-hr8pc same here. I still remember completing the game with a friend of mine at like 3 in the morning and seeing the zombie mode start had both of us looking at eachother like "woah, whats this???"

Went to the range yesterday sighted in at 500 yards and rang an 8 inch gong three out of five. I have a 7X scope on a scout mount so I wouldn't have to get the bolt bent.

Most Mosins have sewer pipes for bores. The Soviets didn't care about bore condition when they refurbished them in the 70s. Just make them look pretty. Never mind all the pitting and worn out bores. Sell them to the Amerikans! They'll think they're new. 🤠

They're fun and I like them alot. Ive always been more about practical accuracy than bullet hole through bullet hole accuracy. If Im hitting milk jugs are 200 yards Im happy. But with Mosin's its a toss up. Might get one that shoots like might and ya might get one that prints a 4-5 inch group at 100 yards. Luckily its not too difficult to accurize one if need be. I havent done anything to mine, its just how it came from the factory. I really didn't expect that group because the action is poorly fitted to the stock, trigger is heavy and long, barrel isnt free floated. But like I said, sorta a toss up with what you get for accuracy.

@MovieMaker225 I own 4 of them. Of course the M44 is favorite to shoot. But, my sporterized 91/30 is the most accurate with an Arken EP5 5x25x56 scope. My rarest is my 1925 Russian Imperial Hex receiver.

@@dennismillus4581 i do really like the hex's. My last mosin was a 1942 and shot alot like this 1943 I have now. I really really like the PPU 182 grain load. As far as the carbines Im a big fan of the M38 and the M91/59 but never come across a good deal on one. This one I have now was sitting for months in a gunshop and nobody wanted it, lucky me lol
