My favorite thing about the Death Guard models is that most of the bigger models have little nurglings running around. I love looking at all the models and trying to find all the little guys running around.

My one complaint with the death guard in general is that they're sort of mono pose. Other than that I think they're amazing.

Magnus was not an heretic while figting Russ, just Russ being dense.

  • @Sup3rSaiy3n

Miguel Álvarez ?? 🤔 I’m wondering if I’m being dense now. Magnus did break The Emperor’s webway gate and broke the council of Nikea’s edict. Heretic in my eyes. Russ was only meant to bring him in though not annihilate them.

  • @papanurgle8393

Magnus wasn't a traitor until his Legion got exiled to the Eye, it's reflected by his actions on Prospero, choosing to "accept fate" rather than fight out of a sense of loyalty, believing that, if he fought at full force and broke the Wolves, the Imperium would be robbed of 2 legions instead of just 1, he also tried to parlay with Russ and would no doubt have been ready to fix his mistakes, had Russ followed the actual orders given directly by the Emperor instead of being a fucking sock pupet for Horus, which he probably realized by the end of the Heresy. Honestly though, by the time Prospero burned, Tzeentch had gripped Magnus and the Sons him by the ginger pubed scrotum sack. He undeniably, colossally and monumentally fucked up, causing more damage to the structure of the Imperium at the time than Lorgar's Ruinstorm, even big E knew he wasn't a traitor at that point, he also knew Magnus was critical for his human-webway plans. His royal "Oopsies!" was more a product of him suffering from the same lack of knowledge about the Chaos powers his brothers had, and their many...quirks... But that was basically was the bedrock of the Heresy as a whole. Though frankly Tzeentch's duplicitous and shitty manipulation or exploitation of Magnu's ignorance and curiosity didn't make things much easier. Interestingly enough, one could argue present day Magnus and "mortal" Magnus are no longer the same entity anymore, one being more akin to a dark reflection of the other. Unlike Mortarion, who ascended whole, Magnus's soul fragmented into shards that were scattered across the galaxy this after his Legion vanished into the eye. One of his shards even merged with Revuel Arvida to create the first Grey Knights Grand Master, Janus. When Magnus did finally ascend, he was still technically "incomplete" and he spent time piecing himself back together into a daemonic entity called the "crimson king", which is as close to Magnus as you can get... but with more daemony and horny bits...without technically being 100% Magnus since some pieces are gone forever or still missing... but is still Magnus... but sort of.

Project Biology Yeah I completely understand your dilemma. Although at GW (confirmed by the manager of 40K) models are made because of the designers and sculptors not the lore or rules writers. I think it’s great that GW invest so much time and effort into a model like this and give everyone that opportunity to use it in a skirmish.
