I mean, I transport a few grand at a time myself as well. Just bags on, not paying attention, riding straight into a lance.. I feel like it was an alt tab scenario. But oh well, free GP.

@@KingKabila Because you can PVP anywhere in the game and when you die you lose everything on you. Unless you play with a group then it's a bad idea to carry valueables with you anywhere outside of towns (even then it's dangerous).
