Def what they did with the goat SHANG TSUNG like the man was only getting Ws the whole game and had 2x the power of kronika and somehow liu Kang who struggled against kronika still won? How like the normal version of Shang tsung in mk11 was unaffected by kronikas time stop sand power thing which already means he was really powerfull so how in the fuck could he lose?

Honestly, MK9 had a better story mode and roster. A character like Ferra/Torr has a cool design but simply isn't functional. The permanent pet peeve I have for the game is that (spoiler alert) Kitana has a Jade Variation when (SPOILER ALERT) both of them are dead. How can you mourn over someone who is just as dead as you are? If the roster accurately reflected the story mode then Jax, Kitana, Liu Kang, and Kung Lao would not be in it. But other than that MKX has better gameplay and graphics. Online feels robust and I'm glad with how it turned out.

King Louie I hear you on that but the hourly and daily challenges are cool besides that mkx does even more justice to the original games than mk9 does because mkx focuses mainly on the tower fights just like the originals unlike mk9 focuses on story mode and challenge mode so is either better gameplay more like the originals mkx or bigger story with more content and tag team matches is about what you prefer to me the most important thing in a fighting game is the game play and mkx has the best gameplay the series have seen so I gotta go with mkx not knocking mk9 mk9 is the second best mk game for me

MKX's graphics are just beautiful to look at. Also this is Jax's best game model ever, it looks damn near exactly like the original actor who played him in the classic games. Hell, they probably scanned his face.

I've known Mortal Kombat almost my whole life but I only started to get really into it recently. Alot of you videos are Mortal Kombat based which I think is awesome as it is a fun way to learn about Mortal Kombat History. I could just simply look up Mortal Kombat History but its much more entertaining watching you play these *Klassic* games :) Im getting an Xbox One soon so im hoping I can get MKX for it :)

I think it's awesome that you found this one to be tremendous after hearing you had changed your mind about MK9. Seems like the new ones are hooking you in, that's cool for an old-school MK guy.

7:25 I agree with that, Ermac's classic costume in mk 9 is especially my favorite.

Even though I enjoyed the story in MK9 more, I have to agree that the fighting mechanics and organization in this game is superb. They really set the bar high, I hope they can recreate that supremacy with MK11.

+MrGSTAR321 Good to know! Also, about some of the new characters: Kotal Kahn is the new emperor of Outworld, replacing Shao Kahn, and Ferra/Torr is a symbiote consisting of a male brute and female dwarf. Ferra/Torr reminds me of Noob-Smoke from MK: Deception.

I agree with you on DLC. The people who give these publishers a reason to cut content and hold it hostage are house-you-know-whats that are ruining the industry for everyone. BTW, LOVE that Beatles reference Erron Black makes.

Fun fact, Tremor was actually playable in MK9's challenge tower for the ps vita. He had a classic ninja outfit. Also, to learn about new characters, play the 4 hour story mode. Anyway, great vid as always.

I hope someday you'll be able to do MK9's and X's story mode, I would love to hear your reaction's to what happens and whatnot.

Great video, but good lord! That fatality that Corrupted Shinnok did where he impales him onto the spike. That is the very first time I saw that, and after seeing that.. That was VERY painful to watch.. XD Shoving Erron Black nads first right into a spike..? Ugh.. D: I literally felt that, man!

From what I heard, Street Fighter 5 is giving players the option to either unlock stuff in the traditional sense or simply pay for it. Which is a really nice touch honestly.

When I played mkxl at my friends house I'm like "dang this is good mk game!" then I started picking Kung Lao's Tempest variation, and started kicking his butt.

Pingu It could have been better but i think it is unfair to say that it was bad.I do agree some new characters didn't click as much in the story mode but some characters were pretty good.Lets hope MK 11 is better especially with the rumored Jade's storyline.

Great video I group of moral kombat from number 1 to moral kombat x I love every mortal kombat game but mortal kombat x was by far 1 my favorites great video by the way I like to see some scorpion fatalities use 1 of my all time favorite next to smoke reptile are the best for they are one of the originals.

It's a good point you made when you were talking about Deception unlocking characters in gameplay. That's what made it fun also online wasn't as big of a thing back then. What they should have done in my opinion is having MK characters being unlocked in the Krypt and paying for only the guests characters have them be DLC. It would have made more sense to me but like you said it's about the money theses days unfortunately.
