Mortal kombat trilogy is still unmatched til this day. It gave you everything you wanted in a MK game.

Damn I wish they'd remake this for PS4/PS5 it's my favorite MK game ever made.

Mortal Kombat 9 seemed like next-gen remake of the original when it came out in 2011. Still my favorite MK game, I hope the next one won't disappoint.

@@shobby1455 what? Are we living in the different universes ??? You know, Kameos doesn’t count. I’m 100% sure that all of the fighters that are playable in mk Trilogy, won be in mk1, even if they will be, they won’t be all playable 🤷🏼‍♂️

Mk Trilogy seems to me to be the best version of Mortal Kombat made so far. It definitely has the best gameplay.

These menu sounds bring it all back... The GOAT. That's what the new games are missing

Maybe I'm tripping, but I always thought there were more characters than that in MK Trilogy? This was my favorite Mortal Kombat

If released, this game will be played and purchased for years to come. You won't make as much up front sales compared to the 3D titles you all care about, but over time as us stoners wake up and find this title. If released, a new 2D mk will start around for many many years if redone like this video. There's only a few of the 3D titles anyone cares to pick up and play after 10 years. A game like this one will never die....

I still have my copy on ps1. Owned this game for 25 years.

characters from MK1 to MK3 combined as the Trilogy was definitely the best. I grew up playing it. I don't very much enjoy the 3D games as much as I enjoyed the games from 1-3.

Literally, 🥶 AF. And this felt like no bullshit too. It really looks like someone actually playing the game the way I remember it, with CPU also giving it back. But this is just somebody who was really good at the game doing it.

Cyber Sub Zero should of been a thing ALONG time ago thanks so much for that colour swap. Trilogy would of always been more a exciting with Chameleon and Khameleon and a few other Cyber Ninja; A green ninja robot would be dope too.

I don't understand if umk3(sega and sn) since they are not officially sold, is the game free? I don't mean pirated copies.

how about different versions of mk1 reptile where he has either both sub and scorp and a different version where he has his normal moves. same with noob, the fast scorpion or his regular move set and the mk3 version is a shadow kano.

how about a reverse endurance where you can have two people vs the computer. maybe a tag mode for the endurance round so they can refill their life meter. maybe a silver mk1 glitch version of raiden? does the mk1 version of ermac say error macro? is hornbuckle under a version of liu kang? Could you add Fergality?

I played MKP Chaotic New Era last night and this looks way more polished and complete. I think the character sprites should be a little bit bigger if its an HD edition but that is just my opinion. They look kinda small on the character selection screen as well but otherwise looks amazing.

'rain' was quite difficult for me. As for the variations, you must occupy the IDs of each character to place them in a single box.

That'd be a dumb idea since this is based on the actual MK characters and close to the real MK Trilogy game roster. There's tons of other Mugen's around with made up character crap. This game is simply MK Trilogy with modern quality of life upgrades like HD graphics, Cyber Sub Zero and more importantly, all of the proper characters from PS 1 & N64 with the older sprites / portraits of the original Mk 1 & 2 chars.
