I would rather Reptile and Ermac but we know they're not going to repeat characters from MKX (which is bullshit if someone asks me) Rain was already DLC but Smoke wasn't and he wasn't in the game since MK9. Now look what characters we got. Shang Tsung, Nightwolf and Sindel. None of those characters were in MKX and they weren't DLC. Look at the leaks, who got confirmed? Fujin and Sheeva. You see what do I mean. I would be sceptical as well, but we just saw that there are three new voice actors for MK11. One is playing Takeda, other is playing Kung Jin and the final voice actor is playing, you've guessed it, Smoke

He is one of the coolest ninjas of the MK universe. His cyborg version in MKX was awesome and very cool tribute to his original self in previous games. But now in MK11, he’s been reduced to a character technique...not even his own character. MK11 is a serious downgrade

im confused on why divorah is still a character, why cetrion, kollector, and geras are playable charcters, nobody likes them, instead of those four, they could have put like takeda, kenshi, smoke, and or even cyrax and sektor.

A bug lady and a sand man are actually pretty cool concepts, and their designs are well done. I like Devorah and Geras a lot. Cetrion isn't bad either, but she straight up feels like she's in the wrong game. Kollector is just plain dumb. If I were to make room for Smoke, I'd definitely remove Kollector.

Smoke looks so cool with his anime hair in MK9

I wish they would add the actual smoke into the game instead of being a skin or variation of another character or literally just a fighting move. I remember for a school project in 6th grade before the game came out where we wrote a letter to a celebrity and they actually mailed the letter to the celebrity and I wrote to Ed boon cause I was excited about the game and in the letter I mentioned how much I loved smoke and hoped he added him into the game I got an autographed card but I I shouldn’t really expect a creator to add my favorite character just cause I asked

I think every character who was in Mk9 and wasn't in Mkx needs to be in Mk11. That way we can see them in current gen (Ps4, Xbox One) rather than old gen (Ps3, Xbox360).

I think Shang Tsung has Smoke's soul in mk11, because it is seen that he uses one of his abilities and does not appear in part 1 or in aftermath, something similar to what happened to Ermac.

Someone asked why he’s not been In many games & I can explain that. He was first a secret character in MK2 with scorpions moves & in the MK3 he was brought back as a cyber version with sektors teleport move & a spear. In UMK3 the human version was also in it, again he had the same moves as scorpion, up until deception he didn’t have any original move set, so that’s probably why he was gone so long. Deception he had the teleport move still, but they added original moves & some of them they kept in the new games, the one thing they did leave out is the teleport move. They gave him new ones in MK9 so I’m glad he actually has original moves & no copies. Triborg does have the spear move, I think it’s fine because no cybers have a spear, but his human version doesn’t need it imo. I would say probably the next game he will be in it. They usually wait 1 or 2 games to put the characters back. Idek if they are going to continue with the story, or do a mind fuck & go back to the story after MKX & make MK11 like almost a prequel into a way more crazy version. I don’t think so I think they wanted a MK game where all the hero’s were evil & they had newer hero’s but tbh like only half the new characters were good. I’m guessing that because MKX was technically MK4, MK11 was like the deadly alliance, so that would mean deception is next. They are reworking / making new games based off the old ones. MK9 was MK1-3 & had some elements of deadly alliance so that’s why they probably changed MK11 so much. MKX was MK4 but it did have some things pulled early from games ahead of it. I’m hoping they do a better story with deception because only conquest explained it, I think it could be reworked
