seeing these kids have a blast playing something very personal to me like MK1 on sega is awesome I love this game and I legit have so many memories playing MK1-3 with my buddies on my old trusty genesis.

I've been playing Mileena since her debut in Mortal Kombat ll, the nostalgias real! XD

The Sega version had no blood code, or censored fatalities.

adamcawa It did on Genesis. I always used the DULLARD debug code to fight the weird, green glitched versions of Sonya and Johnny Cage at the bottom of the pit. The Sega CD version didn't require a code at all

It TECHINCALLY did. The one on SNES had sweat instead of blood, and new censored fatalities. But with a Game Genie, you could change the sweat's color to red.

adamcawa yes a code was needed. A, B, A, C, A, B, B. If this was done correctly, the text will turn yellow and you will hear Scorpion say "Get over here!'' And no blood code what so ever for the SNES version (except the so-called Game Genie color change thing)

Hubby and I had a Sega Genesis back in the day when it was new and this Mortal Komat game! We played with friends all the time! We had a few other games I wish I could still play but they are no longer made!

Jasser's style of playing is similar to mine. That's basically what I do in every MK game: Freeze & Slide. They haven't changed much over the years, I guess.

Amazing how many of these turned into a game of Sidekick.

I remember playing Mortal Combat on the Nintendo 64. One of my favorites, right next to Final Fantasy.

Mortal Kombat 2 for Mega Drive/Genesis was great too. I'd love to see another react on it

That was interesting. I never played it on the Megadrive(A.K.A. Genesis), but we played it on the Super Nintendo about 20 years ago. It was kind of fun to see these kids reactions to it.

my 3 favorites are jhonny cage in mk9 and scorpian and liu kang all 3 from mk9 and i like jhonny in mk9 because he plays so smoothly
