They couldn't get the original actor to voice Krueger in this game but finally got him to voiced Scarecrow in Injustice 2.

Actually, they did get him to “voice” Freddy in this game. Ed Boon confirmed it on his Twitter page.

Hey inferno just so you know you can jump kick goro or Kantor or Sheena when they do that jump attack its a really great combo starter I've seen piecemeal do everytime
