Usually with later ports of games on a new system, there’s a parity clause where the new version must have exclusive content to retail the game at full price. The costumes probably were originally planned for the PS3/360 versions but were axed in favour of making them an incentive to buy this version instead. It’s a shame, but from a business perspective it ultimately makes sense.

@@strykah92 No, usually the fact that a game is now portable is incentive enough for people to buy a port at full price (at least that's what the Switch has taught us). And besides, they could've just released these outfits on PS3/360 a certain amount of time after the Vita version was released.

@@otaking3582 Switch ports that released later than the original version have excluisve content too lol, especially Nintendo's own ports that came from the Wii U. Trust me, I would've much preferred the classic costumes were released on PS3/360 too, but NRS were forced to drop all support for those versions in favour of the Vita port and Injustice 1 at the time.

Bruh WHY were these not released on consoles. This game really could have been the true successor to MK trilogy, which was considered the most complete MK game back then. The addition of these klassic costumes is mainly what this game is missing (on consoles)

Can you do the PS Vita version of the MK9 Character Outros next?

to anyone who are wondering why vita got the *better skins and content* its cuz they want people to have a reason to buy the vita or people would just say its a trash port for money and pretty much it is also its much easier to make content for lower spec machines since it doesn't have to have a hd model for each character.

I can play with Shao Kahn, Kintaro, Goro and Tremor in PC, and even more characters, PC is superior by far

Jaja yo tengo los trajes en PC con mods, la verdad es que se ven mejor los mods en PC, que las skins oficiales de PSVita. Si tienes el juego en PC, te recomiendo le descargues las skins

This video alone shows that the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of mk9 are really the Inkomplete edition as this has EVERYTHING!! WTF Sony???!!!! Why aren’t these on the PS3????

PS3 has an extra stage and character because Sony allowed Kratos to be used. Microsoft refused Master Chief and a character from Gears of War to be used, so that's why the Xbox 360 version has the least amount of content (not too much is lost though). The PS Vita version came out after both, so that's why it has extra costumes, missions and Kratos.

Wait would this be the first time DLc characters actually got More skins?
