Sub Zero needs to return, he got double teamed in the previous movie and not a fair fight. Mortal Kombat is 1 on 1 not 2 against 1. Scorpion was dead.

I think they should still make Lue King the main character of MK that would be nice. We don't need Cole Young as the main character.

Sub Zero's brother taking his new mantle must come in or they must show him in the making having Raiden visit him to see how his training is going. Sub Zero's brother is a powerful character too & he must have this in the movie

I talked about the last movie a bunch on my channel. Theres also a bunch of stuff that would make MK2 better as far as fatalities, characters, story pacing and more. They tried to mash all the fighting in the last half a hour or so in the last movie which felt forced. I think MK2 will impress the fans

Personally, I loved the MK movie remake & am excited for MK2. The fight scenes were pretty good & the fatalities were satisfying. The only diff in the remake that I can spot is that it wasnt Americanized like the movies from the 90s. It didnt have the techno music, rock & roll, or cheesy graphics vibe. It felt like an actual REAL ninja movie. Esp with the casting of Raiden. Personally I wouldve cast another Asian actor for Raiden's role, but the current one isnt terrible terrible. They cast Sonya, Shang Sung, Luiu Kang, Kano, Sub Zero, Jax, Kung Lao, & Mileena perfectly. Im thinking & hoping the good casting & fight scenes carry on into this new movie.

Here's just the plain fact about making MK a movie. The games plot is just too simple-minded. It doesn't translate to cinema. With that said, if the writers and producers are going to add their spin on things, they might as well rewrite the main plot into something the audience can get invested into.

While I absolutely don’t trust that this will be good after seeing the 2021 movie, I will say that one of the best things they can possibly do is remove this sequel from almost every single that happened in the first one as much as possible. More than two set pieces have been shown, so the sequel is already ahead of the first one in that regard. However, the casting for Johnny Cage of someone who should’ve been Kano since the last movie doesn’t exactly give me hope, especially when there were actual good choices regarding available actors with high level martial arts and fight scene experience who looked the part and would’ve done a great job paying the character (by the way, none of them were the Miz, Tom Cruise, Ryan Reynolds, or Chris Prat, all of whom would’ve been bad choices-I wonder if the people who suggested these individuals and weren’t joking about it have ever seen a good martial arts movie before, not to mention if they understand playing a character vs playing a charicature). Also, casting a white guy with no martial arts experience to play Quan Chi was a step in the wrong direction-just thought I’d put that out there, since it apparently didn’t dawn on the people making this movie.

I hope Kuai Liang is in that movie if not I'm not watching it and besides I find Karl Urban as Johnny walker very ridiculous he should been Jarek since Josh Lawson is Kano I thought Karl Urban would be perfect as Kano or Reiko .

Karl urban was chosen because Todd Garner sucks at casting good actors

If Mileena doesn't reappear in Kitana's lore, I will be so disappointed.
