Tier lists in general I think are harmful to the overall community. Majority of players who look to them treat them as God's word and just use it to justify their losses. A definitive tier list is also funny this early because of what you said and also the ever changing meta

What's funny is, I am a casual player with no understanding of the terms like mix up, low, high, etc... but my favorite characters from day 1 where smoke, rain and ashra 😂

I’m a Shang Tsung main, but I also play Reiko and Scorpion. Shang Tsung I play because he’s fun. Morphing, switching from old to young, the fireballs, it all gives you so many advantages and allows you to spam without being flat out annoying. Reiko I play because I love that they brought him back for the first time in forever, and I love his special moves. Scorpion I play because I LOVE the rush of going back and forth with combos and specials. He’s not the best character, but he’s good for me as a long time player.

I used to play half the cast until Omni man came out. Since then ive only been playing omni man and only him. Not just because Im a huge invincible fan, but hes actually really fun to play.

I play as reptile. I don’t run into any others that often. I probably only played against other reptile mains a hand few of time since the game came out. But I totally agree with his placement I’m just a reptile fan I do something wish he was a little better sometimes but still fun to play as

Spot on , I play reptile 🦎 simply because he’s been my favourite character since mortal kombat 2

I personally love playing kenshi because once you get the hang of using sento, the meterless kombos are crazy and theres a different combo route for each kameo, theres always something new and hes a very fun character

Baraka is still top tier, or right under the top tiers. My point in mentioning this is that he is an easy win farming machine, he has one of the best base buttons (back 3) in the game, it beats wake up, leads to a launcher, and can be safe. His damage is still pretty good too even after his nerf/cyrax nerf

@@rotemegozi1044 Yeah Baraka isn’t my main but he’s my go to for easy kombat league wins. I use him with sektor to basically be safe on everything and for comboing off his projectile if i time it right

I feel both in aspects as a Sub main, he is punishable on everything even his b2 is punishable by low poking and uppercuts and that’s where he struggles he eats a lot of unnecessary damage at times from microducks and trying to work around that gets you punished more than rewarded but when I do land a combo starter I have to take full advantage of it

I feel like people underestimate the monstrosity that is Kung Laos 50/50s. Sometimes when I cant open people up for huge combos I start doing bonks with his 50/50s and they start choking hard

sub zero and scorpion have always been in my opinion “overpowered in the right hands” cuz they can do INSANE combos and sub’s ability to freeze is always great even if you aren’t good with the character since it gives you a few seconds breathe and combo string for the 10% damage he gives!

I play Shang Tsung simply because I like him, I would have not been a zoner if I was fast with the buttons for some decent combo, but still I try my best and enjoy the game which i think is the most important.

As a Kung Lao main, I feel like the placement is off a little, I would rather put him in the mix ups category, cause he combos are flashy yes, but where I think he shines is with the goro kameo, getting 30 percent meterless overhead, and 34 percent meterless low combos, plus he has some good plus frames, on his 2,1, so you can jail another 2,1, or go for a throw or something like that. Plus his armored wakeup is cheesy as hell, as well as his dive kick too

why is shang on ez wins? Im a Shang main since mk2 (flex) and im very offended. Take this down now. Also just realized. You should have put shang in kombos. Not much dmg but he has the coolest kombos in the game!. Plus for a very good zoner he has crazy meterless dmg and with the right opponent you can do 1 bar ~45 dmg kombos. Also the characters in combos should be in kombos there is a huge deference.TrueUnderDawgGaming plz fix.

The reason all the Pros and Tournament Players like me say Quan is bad is because: His D1 is 9f, S1 is 8f, he can't take his turn back with pokes into jailed 12/13 and has gaps in all his starters that can be armored or Kameo reversaled for free. Sub Zero is similar has gaps and can't safely jail into 12/21 from poke and his Clone & Divekick is very unsafe and punishable on reaction. Clone is 60 frames from Clone fully visible till SubZero can block! Divekick is punishable on reaction with UpBlock and 46f from start of divekick animation to when it hits! Those are very reactable.

As a Reptile player I can confirm I don’t care if he’s not that great. I just like having fun with him and use the invisibility to either mix up or bait reversals.

Me: *Johnny's placement* Yep, put him up there. *Smoke's placement* VERY annoying and I can understand why *Havik's placement* *Heart literally skips a beat and squeals* YES! EXACTLY WHERE I KNOW HE SHOULD BE! (I actually forgot the rest of the tier list after Havik. All I cared was where you placed my Cleric of Chaos. I'm not kidding about my response, my heart jumped and I did squeal) Very fun tier list my friend! I had to watch the video again though, after Havik I forgot everyone else 🤣😅🤣 I understand at the end of the day, everyone has a personal opinion. But it always warms my heart when others understand when you love a character and don't judge you for it

I'm super bad at the game but I still love playing Reiko. I just think he looks cool honestly and I like how his moves look and feel.

As a Kitana player I agree with her placement. I don’t even zone that much with her. I just love her combos, especially in the corner, and then use Jax both for the combos as well as for setups that lead into even more combos.

I definitely learned reptile and maimed him until Omni-man came out because I think he’s cool and love him as a character but I also think he is highly underrated. And yes I play Omni-man because I like him too lol

I agree with most of it. But getting wins with Sindel is not easy. You have to be able to execute the back 2, ex - air hair projectile cancel, fly into air 2 to get decent damage.

I’ve been playing shao since mk11 he was my first and only main and I just really enjoy his gameplay in any mk game he’s in but it’s about time for shao to be better than average on a tier list

Facts! I literally play all of the you love the struggle. Also I play Havik just because I like the character not because I like how he plays. Although I figured him out.

As a Shang Tsung main I can honestly say that not everyone zones with him. At least not 24/7. Personally I play him for the 40-43% meter less combos that r both satisfying and effective.

Nitara,Sindel, Kitana and Mileena. I just love them and their combos. Sindel does take skill unlike the others on the Easy wins list. But overall, I play them because I love them. And if some of you come at me for liking Nitara, I like the character, most of you hate her for her voice. And sure Megan did mess up, and honestly, I feel like we could give her another chance to redeem herself for all of Nitara's lines. But hey if she appears in the next game, I'll definitely voice her. If Megan can't do it, I will!😂

I think if people didn’t know it was Megan Fox, nobody would have said anything. Her voice acting isn’t bad enough to be noticeable as a minor character. But being she’s a famous celebrity, it stuck out like a sore thumb. JCVD did way worse as Johnny Cage. It sounded like he doesn’t know how to read.

@@MillyBitchell idk i disagree, that might be because johnny cage is a human, but to me the lines that megan fox would read didnt sound right in the way she read it. She's a vampire ffs and she sounds like a regular women who hasnt seen blood. Ever. I.e Scorpion, Subzero have raspy voices fitting for warriors, Geras as cool effects added, same with Shao, Shang Tsung always sounds sus asf, Kitana, Mileena, and Sindel talk with confidence (which makes sense considering their roles), etc etc. Than you have this vampire who just sounds like a human. I feel like if they had her read her lines more like a blood sucking feral vampire, it wouldve done the trick.

can’t lie i love nitara and i get people to rage quit daily in casual. but i struggle when people hold block while im in the air. she’s not bad honestly but could use some better wakeups and hyper armor on her dive kick

Well... I mainly play Sub and Scorp. I get it people group them together but my god Scorp is such a struggle. He has no overhead except for a 112 thats slow and easy to react to. I however love everything about his aerial kombos and his damage isnt bad. He just cant live alone. He always needs a kameo

Scorpion is my most played character with subzero and nitara right behind him. Love to struggle list was just made for me I guess 😅

Nitara is actually ridiculously good in the right hands especially now with Khameleon

30 year Baraka main here: this is so true. Its only because we love Baraka. Boy it hurt when then finally made him top tier.... THEN TOOK IT ALL AWAY! 😢😢😢 Seriously I can tell when I get to God rank - I have to work way harder and be twice as smart as the top tiers, and it doesn't matter because I love Baraka. 30 years. It's probably the closest thing to a marriage I've ever had! And I'm not even exaggerating..

As a time guy main we do like it

I use smoke online for the first rank maybe two and then I switched to my main, which is subzero, on my third or fourth rank, I’ll switch to Quan Chi or Shang Tsung But saying that, since I now know how to play smoke now it’s so much easier to block his moves because I know his animations and now I’ve seen so many people as smoke. It’s kinda easy to figure out the dash cancel. I think outta the last 30 smokes I have fought online, I’ve only lost two of them, which were insanely good I thought I was playing Papa G.

I think scorpion should be in love the character, because he’s like the fan favourite character of the entire genre is the face of the whole game

I love the cyrax and sub for the way the combos look. If I want some damage sereena and sub but cyrax and sub just look crazy and the net drains meter so again it looks cool but the struggle is real. And I love havik because no one plays him and him with sub or Stryker the damage is crazy good

I play Smoke simply because I love him

Look up RewindNV's Reiko guide. I watched that and did this entire invasion season with him and Darrius. Tried Sektor out in invasions but I really didn't start kicking ass with Reiko until I switched to the Darrius synergy.

Quan chi is easy to me! I seen that full combo online and learned it really quick. Out of my mains his full length combo was the easiest to learn
