@@JohnnyDominion Well, he's DLC, so they don't have to come up with an in-story reason for him to be there. Though I really wouldn't mind that explanation as round-about way for getting all the Kombat Kids back. Could be interesting character growth to drop them into a timeline where no one except Liu Kang recognizes them and they have to define themselves in ways besides their family line. Plus it gets the new blood back on the roster without aging up the classic characters.

Kombat Pack roster looks cool. Hope the MK11 outfit for Ermac will be one of his alternate outfits to make up for what we’re seeing right now. At any rate, can’t wait to see more

After playing the game with no knowledge of Quan Chi, and Ermac being in the game I’m disappointed that they were not unlockable within the game. Both characters had full dialogue, move sets, and gestures. They should’ve been in the base game, and they are locked behind a paywall. Mortal kombat is becoming a live service game, and the evidence is there from previous years.
