Fact that lui Kang cared enough about milleena to make her and Kitana actual twin sister is heartwarming. Shows that despite what his original kitana thought about Mileena. He still thought about her and chose her to exist in his new timeline.

@electrichat I mean in the original timeline and the rebooted one, Jade and Kitana were close like sisters. Lui Kang knows this, yet he chose to make Mileena and Kitana actually blood related. Also, Shang was supposed to get a second chance as a normal person as well as all the other villains Lui Kang deem deserve a redemption. So I can't fault Lui Kang for being an overall nicest guy in the room. But I'm saying it's very lovely that outta all the possibilities of creating this new timeline. He wanted Mileena and Kitana to have that sister bond.

Liu Kang even said he wanted to redeem former villains, and probably pitied Mileena for being a clone and unwanted by her sister probably wanted to give Mileena a fresh start with her sister .

Right, I been wanting this storyline for them for the longest. It sucks jade wasn't included because in a perfect world we would've had jade to complete the mk charlie angels lol. We only ever had that as a boss fight in S.Monks and mk9 kitana or mileena ending.

Mileena Kahn, at last! After so many years, as a Mileena fan, after MKX and the D'vorah episode, after MK11 and the long wait for a DLC, Mileena finally gets the respect she deserved. I don't know what NRS will do in the future, but MK1 will remain the game where my girl got her redemption.

Mileena deserved this very much and I loved it. Since mk2 was actually kitana and mileenas first game as well as jade I think they should have all 3 of them together in the story and them have important roles. Just don't make mileena go back to being evil and hating kitana please nrs lol that would be so corny.

The Shang Tsung here is the one from the ending of MK11: Aftermath. Even if he disappears, the one from Liu Kang's new era is still around. Trying to find him before Mileena succumbs to tarkat may be a plot point of a future game or expansion.

@alexdevid135 Did you like not pay any attention to the Game's Story ? Literally none of the characters we see in Chapter 15 are the ones we interacted with during the Story Mode (well except God Liu Kang and his Geras of course). Their part in this Story ended in Chapter 13, after they stopped Titan Shang Tsung's minions. Everything after (aka Chapter 14 and 15) exclude them. The whole "Choose your Kombatant" is solely for Gameplay purposes - canonically the main characters of that chapter were Titan Liu Kang and Titan Kitana. And hell, even outside of this fact, Shang Tsung never created a cure for Mileena in this Timeline - he only created a Serum that held the symptoms back (and it's quite obvious he never intended to fully cure her, since the Serum itself was just his way to get into Sindel's Court). In the Online Intro Dialogues, Mileena even says that Shang Tsung never even tried to make an actual cure - and in Mileena's Ladder Ending she just accepted it as a part of herself and was able to control it (I brought this one up, because Ladder Endings in MK1 are canon and basically serve as an Epilogue to the Story Mode).
