Damn. Haven't seen Shujinko, Ashrah, Darrius, Havik, Reiko and Motaro in a long time back in Armageddon. It's kinda sad the new characters appeared in Deadly Alliance, Deception and Armageddon in the 2000s were forgotten. Some came back from previous games and making Kameo appearances wasn't just enough for me. I'm glad they came back.

They are not forgotten, true mk fans remember them. The one who didn't know them are people who came back to the franchise after because of mk9 and the graphic. I swear those people are not truly mk fans, if mk9 never been made they will never go back again to the game.😂

Weird yes, but a welcome change. I was getting tired of seeing them in practically every mortal kombat game and taking up roster slots when someone else could’ve had their chance to shine or make a comeback… I know the majority think the same

Some of yall say not really as if I'm not aware that there are games without other popular characters. Mk:DA didn't have Liu Kang and Mk vs DC didn't have johnny just to name a few. Doesn't make it any less weird. I'm not saying it like it's a bad thing just one of those moments where you're like I wanna be Jax and you realize you can't. And tbh it's even weirder when both characters have in game models

I miss when mortal kombat used to have the most demonic sounding tunes. The music has changed so much.

Music in this game is weird, it's new and very different from previous MK games, but at the same time it sounds like something very iconic and like it's always been here in MK franchise.

@@MrLachapell MK11 has generic orchestral music, main theme can be even easily mistaken for the Avengers theme, which makes sense with all time travel story. MK1 music is very different from MK11 and very different in one game, just listen some arenas music.

Whilst absolutely not perfect this is easily the best roster in NRS history (quantity aside) Its the most varied MK rosters have been since Deception. Just wish their were more kameos, feels weird to have so few when they're just assists (and also Kung Lao kameo is incredibly pointless)

@@tylermatthew349 I know the story’s already out but spoilers below anyways just in case. At the final chapter of the story, there’s these hybrid fighters. Examples include Klockodile (Geras + Reptile), Frostbite (Frost + Nitara) and John Kahner (Johnny Cage + Shao). So Chameleon could be a hybrid fighter of all the ninjas. However, we do see Khameleon as an Umgadi so it’s possible that may not be the case and he may instead be a Zaterran.

Looks like they're going a slightly different route for the previous special forces characters. Jax is FBI now and working with Kenshi against the Yakuza and Shang Tsung, so Sonya may be FBI as well.

Still need these characters : Skarlet, Erron, Kano, Kabal, Jade, and Playable Stryker

Sindel is just.......😤😤😤

A really good roster, but I hope it grows a lot, many fan favorites and classics missing is so unusual (I honestly just want Jade back)

One Major loss since MK1-3. The Char Select screens music needs to be upbeat and charged up. It used to feel excited going into the match with the music

How many times are these characters gonna die and still end up in the next mortal kombat game, the ones who survive are likely not to be in the next mortal kombat. Doesn’t make sense.

Why is Shujinko already old and why does he look like Shang Tsung?

Glad there’s no cassie cage and them other cringe characters. We did deserve the full ninja and cyborg ninja list though. No Mk compares to Mk trilogy character list.

A shame that i dont have any hype for this game and the roster...especially the female characters are too different from the original designs and they looks all too similar to each other...they didnt learned any lesson from the pervious game, no thanks for me.
