Mortal Kombat 1 is a fighting game developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Games. It will be the twelfth main installment in the Mortal Kombat series, serving as both a sequel to Mortal Kombat 11 (2019) and the series' second reboot, following Mortal Kombat (2011). The game is set to be released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Microsoft Windows and Xbox Series X/S on September 19, 2023.
Mortal Kombat 1 has been confirmed to feature a story mode, online multiplayer with rollback netcode, and offline gameplay. The game will introduce a feature called Kameo Fighters, which will provide assistance to the player during fights. These characters will be separate from the main roster, and chosen before each fight. Additionally, the Air Kombat combo system which was featured in both Mortal Kombat: Armageddon and the action spin-off Shaolin Monks returns, and is being refined for this game.
As of the game's announcement date, it has been revealed to feature reimagined versions of characters such as Liu Kang, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Johnny Cage, Kung Lao, Kitana, Mileena and Kenshi. Shang Tsung will be offered as a pre-order bonus. Six additional characters and five kameo fighters are planned for post-launch release via the "Kombat Pack" downloadable content, which also includes a skin for Johnny Cage featuring the likeness of Jean-Claude Van Damme.
Kameo Fighters are a unique roster of partner characters to assist during matches, creating expanded gameplay possibilities for players. These characters are chosen separately from the main roster of fighters.
Some characters can serve as both kameo fighters and main roster fighters. Guest characters can even serve as kameo fighters.
Mortal Kombat 1 is scheduled to be released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on September 14, 2023 for those who have ordered the game's Kollector's Edition and Premium Edition, while purchasers of the Standard Edition will be able to access the game on September 19, 2023.

I think the three funniest were the Haviks braking their own necks as they walked away, the Mileenas scoffing at each other, and my personal favorite, the Scorpions saying ” Burn with me.” then igniting.
The fact that some of them step back and others stay where they are seems really weird.

Its bc these just reuse round end animations If you're close to the opponent when the round ends the game will move you back to give them space

These are just end-round taunts, if I remember correctly, in some past games they usually groan in disappointment
My only real takeaway is that some of MK1's secondary pallets are nearly indistinguishable from the defaults

They’re not. Shao and Johnny’s are the standard round victory taunts.
Look at the Raiden on the right: he puts the amulet on one side of his waist, but after the "FIGHT" is shouted, it phases to the other side!

Yea the flaw in fighting game, guilty gears baiken has different amputated arm depending on what side she stands

which is a shame because you can actually see him place the amulet on the correct side but due to how literal mirror matches works in fighting games the spaghetti code kicks in and mirrors the amulet to the wrong side.

These arnt even draw animations these are all just the round victory animations without any smack talk.

Hm? Why the different distance and some get the kameos show themselves (mostly the ones that staying at the default distance) and some doesn't (mostly thosr that step further than usual).
