Kuai Liang, and Bi Hans father could become Noob Saibot. That would be an interesting twist. I think most people expect Bi Han to die since that's always been the way it was in previous games. This is a new timeline, so things could be entirely different this time around.

I feel like Bi-han dying would be like when Milena died, in other words, horrible idea that would probably enrage some fans, Mortal Kombat just isn't Mortal Kombat without a Sub-Zero

One possible way I can see Noob returning is have Enemra, the demon that possessed Smoke in the reboot, as the vessel for Quan Chi’s dark magic to hold shadows.

I firmly believe that Jade will return in the story mode expansion cuz in the intros they call her 'countess'. So her being a countess in this timeline, but not being in the story at all, literally makes her role of being one, a straight up waste. I mean why suddenly make her a *freakin* countess and then do nothing to explain it further. Plus, it's pretty much confirmed in the intros that Kitana meets her and that Jade will be critical for Kitana's future (says Liu Kang). So it seems like in the story mode expansion, Kitana and Jade might have bigger roles than we think or maybe everything what I said about this is completely wrong 🥴

I like the idea that this timelines Noob Saibot could be Bi Han’s & Quai Liang’s father. The one who Bi Han apparently was responsible for killing. If he was an abusive/power hungry clan leader, that would explain where Bi Han’s negative influence came from, & also be fitting for him to wind up in the Neatherrealm after dying. Similar to Spawn/Al Simmons, some dark force/dark entity down there could see his impressive fighting ability & dark heart, making him the perfect contestant to become a dark reaper/wraith soldier from hell.

Wow this is actually a really good idea, I like the fact that they incorporated other npcs into the game from the story with other fighters like how Jerrod resides inside Ermac instead of how in the past we never got to see Jerrod in the stories (well this is more my opinion I’m not sure if he was mentioned or shown before lol 😅) but yeah I would love to see Noob Saibot again in this timeline!!!!

Here’s my personal head cannon for Noob’s return. Inside the normal story smoke and scorpion bring up how they must honor their father’s tradition for the Lin Kuei but Sub-Zero revels that he killed his father. They bring this up so many times that it has to hold some wight so what if I’m the expansion Quan Chi brings back Noob Saibot for the old grandmaster and instead of noob being evil he joins the Shiri Ryu to take down the Lin Kuei

As for a guest character, it would be fun to get Kurt Russell's character from Big Trouble in Little China.

I think that they could possibly kill Tomas off but revive him as Noob Saibot. In the Midway Era, Noob was a variant of Smoke originally, and I also believe that they wouldn’t straight up kill Bi-Han for reasons Dawg had stated.

Nooh saibot might be a cyborg of bi-han or as you said an Iron man armor for bi-han because Bi-Han will probably enhance himself.

The theme with MK1s story is that the timeline is just slightly off. Example being Kuai Liang being Scorpion now instead of the second subzero.. but still being the brother of Bi-Han. NRS isn’t afraid to retcon tho so maybe they’ll just combine two characters again and say that Kai is now Noob Saibot. Kinda like how Dairou is now havik

Think Noob Saibot would be a new elite member of Sub Zero's new Lin Kuei, an assassin he might send to end his brother. Another possibility is that he might be a minion of Quan Chi or come from another timeline.

Since MK1 is about new things I have a theory about Noob Saibot. What if Bi Han doesn't become Noob but someone completely different like Hanzo does? Most likely against his will.

Yeah I agree 100%, Ghostface would be a great idea, he tries to act scary and fierce, plus, he has a very intimidating voice (provided by Roger L Jackson) but as you said, most of the time he's so clumsy and goofy. I love your ideas for his moves and I stand by all of them.

I think it would be cool for the cyber Lin kuei to adapt and become more cybernetic as the new timeline progresses like Maybe at first they are just suits and then they start to replace a limb or two kinda like winter soldier and then eventually just full cybernetic body. Also I think noob will be either Bi-Han’s dad (they were strangely adamant on reminding us that Bi-Han left him to die) or hanzo and maybe the Saibot sidekick is just a different manifestation of smoke abilities since it looks like smoke is gonna be Hanzo’s mentor.

If you look at the concept art for smoke you can see he was supposed to have a hunting knife instead of his karambit. I think this was to distinguish the masked ninja from the masked ghost face just a little bit more

I haven’t played much of MK1. I got the premium Kollectors edition, but only played an hour or so. We had to move and I haven’t gotten to it yet. By now, I have multiple dlc characters to try out along with the story, etc. I’ll be busy for awhile.

Ghostface (Main)with parrie like Joker Cassie cage (Main) D’vorah, Skarlet and Erron Black (long range Kameo fighters) Kobra and Noob(Main/ Kameo fighter) At least make Jacqui a Kameo. Just make a Kameo Pack with MK11 fighters

Hopefully with the expansion comes more single player content aside from invasions, and easier in-game alternatives to avoid using the microtransactions. As for DLC, frankly, I think the most likely candidates for the story expansion are all the people mentioned in the intro dialogues or endings; Hanzo, Jax, Jade, Hotaru, Kano (black dragon comments), D'Vorah (Kytein comments), Frost, Kai, Dorfen, Brokade, Starfire (Mileena comment), and Onaga.

I think since Hanzo Hasashi is still canon in the new universe but not taken up by any ninja role (At least to my knowledge since he COULD be Takeda) he might die and turn into Noob Saibot

You broke my heart with the Jade news. I still have hope that she'll appear... Maybe not playable but in her Countess role. Maybe throw back with a "secret boss fight" in the story mode but she won't be available to play until KP2 like how Quan Chi was in the MK1 Storymode.

I'd guess they'd probably go the Cyberpunk route. Cybernetically enhanced ninjas being able to blend in like regular humans makes more sense than 6 foot tall androids wearing BMX pads.

I like the idea of Noob being Bi-Han and Kuai Liang's father. He'd have some vengeful, disappointed, cold dialogue with Bi-Han while proud of Tomas and Kuai. That, or we give a time skip with the Story, have a grown up Hanzo, and give him the Jason Todd treatment.

Ghostface gameplay in Terrordrome was pretty good hes quick and sneaky like noob if his play is similar to Terrordrome you in for a real treat

Oh you know how they could pull off Chucky if they ever wanna go that route? So, I think Jade's going to be coming sooner than that if you go to IMDb which stands for international movie database, it lists of all of the actors who voice the characters for each game. The actress who voiced Jade is already in the list which means she's already added her voice. Also Roger Jackson who voices Ghostface is in the list as well.

I actually think noob makes more sense in story mode expansion as he would make sense to join havik in fighting as it was a story mode ending that he and havik teamed up to take over their respective realms

Here are my thoughts. Noob Saibot would be the Revenant of Sub-Zero and Scorpians father. Kuai Liang(Scorpian) Dies and is replaced with Hanzo Hasashi, Erron Black and Nightwolf would be in the DLC since they made a kameo in test you might, and Madam Bo would be playable sharing Bo rai cho's moveset. (Also the guest character theme is based on Superheros so Ghostface wouldn't be a perfect fit.)

Noob saibot might be from the original time line that made it threw the cracks of the time shift. And if so, he'll may be a threat as far as information on how Liu Kang changed everybody fates.

I think they're going to add Ghostface from the Wu-Tang Clan into the game. He's got a new album coming out, and he already has a fighting game moveset. Perfect fit.

From lore perspective as well, consider that he is the only one who knew about Liu Kang plan during Aftermath and yet we didn't see him at all now in new era

While not my fav of the "Kombat Kids", i think we really could use Kung Jin, along with Takeda... he was even mentioned between Kenshi and Kung Lao. All 4 of them really should've been brought back in some way or another. They were great in MKX and both Cassie and Jacqui had good roles in MK11, so i hate to see that they aren't around in the 'new era'.

its a major longshot but they could always make it so that hanzo is captured or defeated by bi-han/quan chi and turned into Noob as revenge against kuai liang. seems slightly ridiculous but theres no other role for hanzo as of yet :0

Im not trynna be a nerd at all, LOL. But the cyber ninjas are actually robots themselves, Because after scorpion beat subzero outside ying fortress, he told smoke he forgot about sektor and cyrax, their loyalty to bi-han is absolute. So they cannot just be suits for the ninjas themeselves.

Nightwolf would be awesome in this game. Meat as a cameo character would be sick

The T1000 from Terminator 2 was rumored a while back. Id like to see him be added to the series as a guest character.

I was thinking about how Noob Saibot could be some version of Enenra, born from the hate of Bi Han against smoke

I knew mk1 was gonna have this. Glad I waited so long to buy so I don’t have to buy the game twice.

I also think Onaga is going to make a return for the expansion dlc since the tower ending happened to be cannon with characters dialogues

OK im still new to the franchise and lore and stuff but i heard something about general shao and rekio trying to free Onaga or sum? i think i might have heard it in character dialogue as well if its true who knows maybe onaga will return but thats just speculation

I think story mode might not use as many of the arcade endings as we think because not all of them are meant to be covered in the story mode DLC. Sub-Zero's ending kind of suggests it takes place after Scorpions ending because he didn't build the Cyber Lin Kuei until he is faced with the diminished power of his clan. Essentially the fight (or at least the first one) between Lin Kuei and Shirai Ryu has already been done in Arcade Mode. Plus I feel like MK1 will focus more on Outworld anyway and save a focus on more of the Earthrealm people for a later game. Which is why I think most of the Story Mode DLC characters will be from there. In fact I can see Jade and Kotal be a part of it. If they are a couple maybe they weren't present because Kotal left to train after his defeat by the Village Person (one of Johnny Cage's intros) for Raiden. Sheeva could potentially have the same story but I think she would be a Kameo. As for who else it's hard to say for certain. But I still think it will be mainly Outworld characters for Story Mode. KP2 is where we can get DLC characters from Earthrealm that had a part o the story but not as important of one as the ones that came with the mode. I just thought of the fact that there is supposed to be a new character. Maybe that one is the third Story Mode character because he or she is a big part of the story mode's DLC

Cyrax and sektor will be like iron man for sure. Like Reptile morphing to lizard form back and forth, the robots will do the same, partial armor to full armor. Or could be like shang tsung morph to old man.

It might still be too early for this but I'd love to see Noob Saibot return through Kuai Liang Scorpion's death with Hanzo stepping up and regaining the Scorpion mantle

What if they make Noob Hanzo? Maybe Bi Han had killed Hanzo and that’s why his wife took up the mantle of vengeance like he did, but somehow Hanzo turned to Noob as well. I’d like to see Hanzo again so that’s why I am hoping that maybe the case, it’s just weird that they took Hanzo away. That’s one change I never really agreed with tbh.

I’m still hoping fujin shows up somehow. Doesn’t have to be in the story expansion but him and cyrax are definitely my two most wanted fighters to come back

I hope to see the Shredder in Kombat Pack 2 I’m big on my comic book characters that’s why I liked Kombat Pack 1 a lot.
