Something about this video is timeless. Maybe it's because it's in black and white, maybe it's the architecture, maybe it's the clothes and hair - it looks like it could have been filmed any time from the 1950s until now. Only the cars would seem out of place. It's just perfect.

Something about this video is timeless. Maybe it's because it's in black and white, maybe it's the architecture, maybe it's the clothes and hair - it looks like it could have been filmed any time from the 1950s until now. Only the cars would seem out of place. It's just perfect.

Thanks for your sincere compliment and love, I’m not complete without you as my Fan 🌹🎻 I have you to be most thankful fan🎻🎻🌹
I always loved the bass on this one.
What a great sound!!!! Timeless!
The great thing about having this as my favourite Morrissey song is that I get to listen to all of the amazing songs on Your Arsenal and then have this to end the album. Pure brilliance!
Very stimulating video of Mozz. All of the elements are there for us to gush and adore. Don't mean to look back, but could he possibly bring this level forward once again? I know I can't be possibly alone with these thoughts and hopes...
THAT BASS LINE...It brings you thought the song slowly but unstoppably....love every guitar and every bass and drum line....and the lyrics....that voice....❤🔥TELL ME , TELL ME ,THAT YOU LOVE ME...!!!
I love seeing a young Boz!
Happy Birthday, beautiful human. Your music is eternal
Happy birthday morrisey 🎸🎂 May all you’re best wishes come to fruition

OH MY GOD, I TOTALLY FORGOT HOW GREAT THIS SONG IS.....SO MANY MEMORIES
morrissey is a really down to earth man
The fist bump at 3:28, hahahaha, only Morrissey could screw that up! how it makes me giggle!
2:54 The dream starts (tell me,tell me that you love me) when the forever guitar starts to play that represents the Loyalty that Morrissey had for the girl in the song! (If you put your arms around me I wont tell anyone)👍🏿🙏💜
Never realized this was a one shot video. Pretty fricking awesome.
just a great song. Never really knew who he was until youtube. I did tape the song back in the 90s off the radio and had in on my TEAC dual cassette tape deck. Ah remember when that was uber hi tech
Morrissey’s told us that he _loves us_ _’Oh...... I know that he means it’_ Morrissey, man of the West; standing up for us, irrespective of the cost and calling out _”Certain People I Know”_ God Bless You Steven Morrissey ❤️
Brilliant! ♥

I'm a one man band on youtube.
My favorite song of all time, 25 years and running. I randomly met Moz the day before a show I was going to in 1997 and asked him if he could play it, and he responded "no, my band and I hate that song." HAHAHA I still find his blunt honesty more refreshing than if he had actually played it.

He was being facetious that's all. He wrote the song of course he loved.

ha ha. i mean, really - would you want any other response from him ? BUT hey ...even Monsieur can be wrong. Perhaps his inner stephen got the better of him ?

@@simonthompson27 in fairness he does dislike a lot of his songs and albums although I’m not sure why. I know he’s definitely not a fan of the debut Smiths album

@@Harry_84 I think, for morrissey, the (his) narrative can be equally important as the drudgery of reality. I like that. You’re not chained to the expectation of having to love what it is you have Done right ? And …He’s still tinged by what he grew up with . something like a ‘mark e smith’ attitude. Once upon a time …He loved smith. Even if mark smith said “ there’s only one smith in Manchester” lol.
