I referred to the '64 cooper S. At the time of launch, there were no side mirrors and seat belts, and there was only one fuel tank. According to Internet search, the official introduction of twin tanks was from 1966. Prior to that, it appears to have been installed as an option.

Every now and then, not too often, there is something on youtube that really makes it worth while. This is, certainly one of the best. No banging music or rediculous production, just a display of skill and true craftsmanship at its finest. Thank you for posting this, extremely enjoyable and entertaining.

Never seen this level of detail applied to a model before this is nuts
I didn’t even realise this level of quality was possible. I wouldn’t even be able to see the parts, let alone build them. 😂 Incredible work. 🙌
I can't add anything more to the wonderful comments about your skill. I was very fortunate that my parents came to England from Nyasaland with me as a very young boy. They bought one exactly the same, both type and very similar colour. We toured through to Egypt from England and then it was shipped to Nyasaland. I then went to school in it driven by my parents! Thanks for evoking such memories.
Holy crap, that's absolutely perfect! Incredible job 👍👍

Was I the only one expecting the engine to be actually running at the end of the video ? Outstanding job, thank you for the inspiration 👍

Lol, yea I had the same thought cross my mind! It’s crazy how he built that engine up
Long ago I made a Tamiya Citroën 2cv6 , 1/24. I think it is a very good brand, very precise, everything fits perfectly and looks exactly like the real car. And I was very proud of the result. But seeing your work on this Mini, it is clear to me that there are builders and builder-experts. You must be one of the best.
I'm pretty sure if you fabricate a tiny key for that thing, it'll fire right up. You sir, are a true master. And that car belongs in a museum.
Wow... I've been spraying real cars for the last 20 years... And this amazed me.. You put so much detail and pride in your work and its only a model car. Really wow... Beautiful work. Please keep on with what you are doing.

Outstanding
I owned and worked on a large number of minis in the 70s and 80s and watching this film bought it all back, even down to the hinged rear no plate! The only thing your wonderful model lacks is rusty inner and outer cills and a plastic bag wrapped around the distributor to keep the water out! Absolutely wonderful...

I have never seen anything like this before. Incredible workmanship. I am in awe.
I've never witnessed such attention to detail in scale models like these, my absolute respect to you. loved the result
Omg. I have watched lots of scalemodel vids but never seen so many details like this. I guess you produced more parts than the kit has :) It’s Masterpiece!
Incredible attention to detail, the only issue I see is the panel gaps around the doors are better than the factory originals. Outstanding!

One little trick ongoing might be to flatten the bottom of the tires to suggest weight. As an owner of a real 1965 Austin Cooper your level of detail is stunning, its a thing of beauty.
I've just found this channel, love the fact that there is no music or chat, just the sweet sound of plastic.
I owned a Mini in the 80's and now I'm convinced the level of detail in this model is in fact higher than in the real thing!
Utterly speechless!! Having rebuilt a mini from the bare shell i felt so intimately connected to every miniscule detail! Completely in awe of this build!!!
You’d think you were looking at the full size car. Fantastic. Thanks for that 😊
This is one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen!!!
This... I've never seen something so incredibly detailed. It's absolutely mind blowing!
I'm speechless. Another masterpiece from the master builder 👍👏👏👏
My god. It's really on a other level. I never expect we can do this with a model we buy like this. Sure I can't do stuff like this but it's really amazing to watch.
Used to run an Austin Mini Cooper 1969. Lots of fun it was. THX for bringing back sweet memories.
Somewhere in this world, around this time, Mr. Garage is making another priceless masterpiece before our eyes.
This is next level, man. The attention for detail, you've brought it to an absurd level. Absolutely amazing! Extremely well done.
Wow! The engine bay is a piece of art as of itself 🤯, but the whole car is a beautiful classic! Haven't seen so much detail ever before! Waiting for more models to come!!!

Wow this is AMAZING!! The attention to detail is god level and I have never seen this level of passion. The mods to the kit to make the doors open, the fact that the engine was built as a separate unit and all the accessories as well, truly breathtaking to watch your work come full circle. Your work is one of a kind! Subbed to your channel and hope to watch more of your incredible creations.

Nice, that final showcase scene looks like something straight out of gran turismo games with that music😁👍🏻
I have owned and rebuilt a number of classic minis throughout my life (I also have this kit) so I truly appreciate the level of detail on this build, it's just mind blowing!

Truly one if not the best build I’ve ever seen, 👏.
I have watched a lot of plastic car model build videos, but your attention to detail & skills are the best I have ever seen (in 1/24 scale).
Absolutely beautiful, great craftmanship.
This is one of my favorite builds of yours. I like to think about the TV show, Mr. Bean, when watching this one.
The minute he started carving out the doors, I knew this was going to be good. The best engine bay Ive ever seen so far.
This is not simply scale modelling. This is art ♥
I'm blown away by the attention to detail. I hope Tamiya are watching in the sidelines and sending you free stuff because you are going to boost their sales... even if we can never construct their models to this level of perfection!
This is levels above anything else ive seen on youtube WOW

Wow, incredible attention to detail, as a very amateur model maker, I know how much time and effort will have gone into this. Absolutely outstanding! One of the best model Mini's I have ever seen. Thank you
awesome, there is not enough stars in the universe to give this guy, (no. 1. model'er.).
Love that little engine detailing.

I dont even know what to say... speechless!! Not only about the skills to do but how to do it!! My respect for your piece of ART!!!!
Unbelievable. It looks like someone took a real car and scaled it down 24 times. Really great work!
It really is a pity BMC and British Leyland didn't have craftsmanship like that. That simply superb
I am totally mesmerized. There’s nothing but hands down praise for what you create.
Шикарно!!! У меня нет слов. Это произведение искусства, высшей пробы. Мастеру моё уважение.

I can't believe what I just saw!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! Amazing skills!
I have seen a lot of high end scale modelling on YT but the engine bay detail on this was the best by far, outstanding work.
You know, military modelling is great, lots of greebling, weathering, battle damage, etc. but to model something as pristine as the day it rolled off the factory floor… exquisite.
@A4Garage

I've built a military model before, but I think it's harder to weathering the car naturally. Thanks!
@DrWhom
2 жыл бұрын
@@A4Garage I agree, realistic weathering requires treatment of tiny areas and very thin layers. Otherwise your car ends up looking like it's on an antique post card. Paul Budzik on his channel has a lot to say about this. Modellers these days are fans of panel lines and weathering. If you translate them back to full scale, the "panel lines" would be an inch across and the "dirt" would be a very think layer of mud and grime, and oil in real life. Budzik thinks it looks bad, and I tend to agree with him. The irony is that, when you go to an auto show, they do the opposite: super shine, not a speck or a smudge. However, a rally car could be a sensible exception.
I was nearly expecting working lights. Ive never been held so spellbound. every extra component built to scale. This is a more than a model. What consumate skill & craftsmanship
The sheer attention to detail is outstanding. My Grandfather had a mini, and this captured ever little thing. Wonderful.
You are the micro surgeon of model builders. Just amazing the time, effort and detail you have put in. Keep up the fantastic work and videos!
I'm an experienced model builder but in fact there were a few jaw dropping moments in this video. The whole thing is completely over the top! And thanks for producing the good footage of the build. That hour went by very quickly.

A4, I just stumbled onto this video and LMBO when I watched your INTENSE craftsmanship skills. Eye popping Smithsonian museum quality work. A true inspiration.
The interior and dash are something I could stare at for hours.
Love the discipline, attention to detail and dedication in this. Very inspiring.
*The level of detail is so amazing, awesome work! ❤️*
And you are making a better job building this than the actual car itself. At least this will not rust within it's first year of life. 😁
It is so detailed that it makes it a good video on how to repair the real mini.
寝る少し前にこの動画を見つけて「うーん、1時間ちょっとか…」と一瞬思いましたが、作り込みが凄すぎて最後まで見てしまいました。 素晴らしいものを見せてもらいました。
This is so nostalgic for me as my first car was a mini back in 1981, nowhere near as nice as this one but you have replicated it to perfection. I am just astounded by the level of detail that you put into your vehicles. Thank you so much for sharing.

All I can say is that is f**king incredible. You have an incredible eye for detail, and the patience of a saint. Thank you!
Amazing, the detail, Fabulous. I'm sure my real mini wasn't that detailed.
