My headcanon is that Morpho knight is the result of Galacta Knight not resisting when the butterfly came for him. Once the knight understood that the butterfly wanted to end his suffering, he not only submitted but offered his own strength to the butterfly of the underworld so that he could spread peace across the multiverse, whether the gods want it or not.

Uh no actually. Allow me to correct you. In Kirby Star Allies, Galacta Knight is summoned at the Divine Terminus by Hyness for an unknown purpose. Due to his nature a timeless prisoner, Galacta Knight has never died, no matter how many times he's been defeated and even shown to explode. Now enter the butterfly, which appeared in the Divine Terminus at the right time. According to the Forgotten Land and Kirby manga lore, certain butterflies in Kirby's universe have the potentiality to cast judgement and fully eliminate entities, sending them to the underworld. The butterfly, by landing on Galacta Knight, judges and absorbs him, thus killing the knight while gaining his powers. Thus, morpho knight is reborn from an ethereal butterfly inheriting the powers of an extremely powerful entity.

Okay so, morpho's theme is probably my favourite theme in the game, and i gotta say: this just makes it so, much, BETTER. Not just the jokes about Morpho and Galacta Knight's canonity alongside Morpho Knights iconic line, "Ligma balls!" But also the actual lyrics fitting with morpho knight being a knight from the underworld and a "harbinger of death" collecting both galacta knight's and Forgo's souls. And that Leitmotif of the main theme is just *chef's kiss* I'm not that good at rating music, though. So here's a summary: You absolutely blew this one out of the park and straight to china with this one, Mr. Oversized package of peanuts. You've really outdone yourself. Also, Leongar seems to be up next, which i am very happy about :pogger:

I really did try and incorporate everything from the official gacha lore to the Japanese translations on Meteorz's lore video to the general thoughts of the fanbase on the character and even the leitmotifs that musical genius Ogasawara decided to use in his arrangement! I assume it means he will no longer appear in a mainline game because there’s this idea that the Galacta Knight fought in all the side modes is actually the same dimensional entity being dragged between non-canon dimensions for fights.

I loved this cover so much (though it was meta knights theme that introduced me to the channel) but regardless not only was this pretty humorous but also intense. I felt the regal almost unearthly feeling this song gives. Morpho Knight may be a being of Judgement but that’s it he’s not truly evil he’s justice given form. I loved this and it inspired me to make my own lyrics for this tune.

Would be hilarious, but I don't think the butterfly plays outside of the rules of the universe. He's just another cog in the Void machine, and he plays his role with an obedience so deep it might even be terrifying.

Hey wanna hear my headcanon?! In my AU there are many butterflies that all represent Morpho Knight similar to that camera entity in the backrooms (idk their name) every single butterfly shares every memory each one has had so let’s say one absorbed Galacta and one absorbed Fecto Forgo they would both remember what happened to each of them. They can also transfer the souls they collect to one another by touching there inteni(auto correct can help me spell this one) this allowed them to establish different setups like one butterfly at a certain point waiting for other butterflies to transfer their collected souls to them while others might hunt down the dead and lost. Also in my au Morpho is the god of death, judgement and peace. They can also see the timeline and are the only beings that know about the 4th wall and they can stop loops in the timeline by only allowing one butterfly to turn into a knight in the current point of time so they don’t accidentally meet their past or future self. Also here is a cute little fact in my au, Morpho was the only being to keep Fecto Elfilis company while he was sleeping before he split in half. Fecto Elfilis one day left a note in his dream world for Morpho to find talking about their plan to split in half and talking about how that one of the halves might die so they asked on the note for Morpho to be there when half of them dies.

I started really diving in this year and it has been a blast! I love the interesting lore and the idea that it doesn’t matter in Kirby’s point of view and that it’s all just showing the magic that friendship can cause! Compared to something like MLP (which I also love) as another fandom talking about friendship Kirby just hits differently and that’s what’s so great about it!

*Spoilers for those who haven’t played Forgotten Land* Wait a minute, in Forgotten Land, when Morpho Knight exploded, he released Fecto Forgo, who absorbed his power to become Chaos Elfilis. So when Morpho Knight exploded in Star Allies, a similar thing could’ve happened, and Galacta Knight could possibly have absorbed its power and become a similar entity. So this could mean Galacta Knight IS still alive after all.

Discovered this lyrics video while I was scrolling to see some remixes of one of my favourite characters from the kirby series when I found this. It's simple to say that this is fricking amazing! Apart from the silly jokes like the sad fact galacta died from ligma, some of the lore here is very nice. Good job!
