The fact is most of the time you can somehow make foundations work because there are still gonna be paler shades while black people not only have to somehow make it work but also have much less options than you do. There are still brands that don't even go darker than Jackie's complexion and and it's not uncommon for people to go way darker than that so the f you mean>

Morphe is the equivalent of that midnight diner that you stumble into at 2am after partying too hard. Sure, they have a ton of options, but none of them are particularly good nor do they make sense.

Where have you been all my life!!!! (Actually ur the same age as my youngest child lol.) I came across ur channel bc I have a rare neurological disorder and between it , the meds and hot flashes, I sweat like crazy. I came home from church in tears today bc my makeup ran so badly. (Sweat runs from my head down.) Anyway, I have been using either the 2 Faces Born this Way-Brulee or Urban Decay All Nighter-8.75 Foundation. Nothing I do seems to keep the make up on. So I went on a search for help. I came across this one You Tuber that highly recommended ur video...well ur channel in general. Finally to my question: Do you still recommend the Sacha Makeup Method to prevent makeup from coming off due to sweat? I know that was made a while back. As a 50-something 😊woman of color I would like to say I am extremely proud to see you doing ur thing and doing it AMAZINGLY. I have spent the last few hours watching videos and I am now a permanent subscriber! Keep up the great work and Congrats on ur success!

Precooked Bacon i think that’s a reach, their marketing used black models for the darker shades. I think that their formula is off. When you think of Morphe you don’t think foundation and concealers. You think eyeshadow and brushes.

She made a video years ago called "How to Find Your Undertones!". Haven't watched it recently but I remember it being very helpful. Would definitely love a newer video though! Hope it helps!

I’ll stick with Fenty Beauty, NARS, MUFE and MAC when it comes to concealers/foundations. I love your honesty and realness! Nothing gets purchased unless you review it Jackie 🥰

A A Um no. POC have been asking for companies to make shades that match our skin tones. Here’s a company that was so anxious to say “We have 60 shades” that they skipped over making darker shades in a variety of undertones. Most of those were straight up red and one was damn near pumpkin colored. I doubt you’ve ever had to settle for a foundation that makes you look orange so of course you’re here telling people not to complain like their complaints will hurt you pockets. 🙄

A A They gave us these shades not because they care, but because they saw the success that Fenty Beauty had. Fenty Beauty actually took the time to find the undertones and shades poc needed. Other brands are just catching on to this because they want the money that Fenty Beauty brought in. So they think that they can throw us shades with crazy undertones and say here you go we can also be inclusive too. When that’s not the case.

A A I can tell by the way your talking and your wording that your someone who’s never had to search very hard to find your shade, or look for something that perfectly matches you, because companies have always catered to you. Now that we have more than one company trying cater to us, and we point out a problem, all of a sudden we are ungrateful and we need to stop complaining. I might be wrong or slightly judgmental but I no longer want to put in work to make my foundation match or work for me when I can just pick up my tenth or Lancôme and put it on and go. Not here for making certain brands work for me. We no longer have to. Thank goodness. The look turned out beautiful but I think it’s just because Jackie is beautiful. Thanks for the video.

Girl me neither. I am not mixing or color correcting a damn thing. It's either you match or you don't. These folks have the nerve to charge sometimes $40+ and you have to finesse the daylights out of the product. I'm sticking with my Born This Way in Sable, my Dior Forever in Ebony 080, and my Fenty 480. 🙄

I think it’s so full coverage that if you mess up your shade match, it’ll look insane 😶

All I see is NW NW NW!!! Too much red, even the shade you used look fine until it dried and that turned cool/red/orange! This range is weird. What’s the point of 60 shades if no one can actually wear them? Seems like they didn’t even test the shades on actual WOC.

Jackie’s personality is just so vibrant and fun loving. And I live for it ❤️✌️

The thing is, I've always known Morphe to be a brush/eye shadow pallette type of company. When did they get the idea to do complexion products? Or am I being dumb?

I definitely have only known them as the brush/ shadow girl. Kind of feel like they wanted to hop on the complexion bandwagon and here they are trying to fix something that wasn’t broke

I have a bronzer/highlight palette from them. Imma share or two darker than Jackie and I love it. The bronzer in there is my favorite bronzer ever. Idk what this hot mess is.

Seems like after FENTY raised the bar for having a variety of foundations and concealers.. SO MANY of these brands aren’t not putting out quality in their products for their customers. At this point they just want to be the brand with the MOST foundations and concealers in the market.. like calm down and actually take time to create QUALITY PRODUCTS. Fenty getting my coins 💗
