Wednesday August 17 2016 at 12.42. The 9.30 London to Edinburgh (14.13) train pulled by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight loco. The first part of this video can be seen at Morpeth LC. The single track line there was a branch off this East Coast Main Line. The road behind the crossing is closed and it seems the crossing provides access to about 9 houses. Network Rail thinks skirts are necessary on the barriers here but not elsewhere.
