Thank you to Hannah hannahpickle.com who is an amazing photographer for snapping some special photos of Jesse and I including the thumbnail photo of me with my new lion pillow! 😘

60 yrs ago when I was five, we lived in Morocco. My dad was Air Force and we lived between Marrakech and Casablanca on an AFB. My mom shopped in the markets, and she actually was an extra in a movie there. Sodom and Gomorrah with Stuart Granger and Pierre Angelou. I still have brass trays and such they brought back. I have an album and even a home movie with her at the movie site. Thank you for this little memory trip backwards!

You are getting so close to becoming the next “Rick Steves” female version. Also from the Northwest! You and Jessie will inherit his torch to show a light on the world for the rest of us to see! Loved this so much! Hard to pick a favorite part of this trip, but I’m nuts about the fossils and geographic history. The beautiful rock formations and colors of the landscapes! Just magical and other worldly. Your choice of background music added to the exotic atmosphere!! Very well done! 🙏🥰

I’m a 62-year-old native Floridian, born in 1961 and grew up very poor, on a farm. I was a cleaning woman for 27 years. I have only traveled out of the state a few times, and only once out of the Deep South (Michigan, for a wedding). I have never been on a plane or seen real snow (1977 snow in Tampa doesn’t count; it was light and nearly non-existent lol). So-traveling to Morocco with you and your gang was a BLAST. I could absolutely ride a camel (I manage even very difficult horses well) but all the thin cats in Morocco stressed me out. 😢 I have five parrots and two rabbits. My first rabbit is a wild Eastern Cottontail I named Catcher. We rescued her from our back yard at about 4 weeks old. She is now going into her fourth year with us. This is a success story, because only 10% of wild baby rabbits survive in captivity. Six weeks ago, we bought her a 4 month old companion mini Rex we named Cleopatra. It has been VERY interesting, lol. I live a narrow, yet somehow adventurous life. Thanks for taking us on your Moroccan adventure! It broadens those of us with little means into a larger world. 😊

Oh my I goodness Laura you have brought many happy memories for me in Morocco, I was born and bred in Gibraltar across the straights of Gibraltar and my English husband and I went to Tangier’s a few times and honeymooned in Mohamedia,,lovely memories, Tangier was lovely especially el Kasbar market…..there used to be a ferry boat and we used to travel across quite a bit….my grandad lived for a while up the mountains in Berbiscan, I now live in the uk for the last 50 years, ..in Gibraltar we have a Moroccan community and we used to savour their spicy food and I still wear my chislava Moroccan gown ….thanks for reminding me xx

Beautiful! What a shame you didn't visit the YSL museum/house, adjacent to Majorelle. The riads are so special and each one is different. In Fez I wandered through the crowded souk and followed the sound of Etta James until I found the source in a tiny shop. The owner spoke three languages, all different from mine. Still, I spent three hours with him in a combo of French and Turkish listening to magnificent music. When the prayer call came, he left me in his shop alone with a pot of tea and snacks. What a special treat. He even made me a couple of CDs from his favorite music. Highlight of my visit!

You did a great job taking us along! I was married to a Moroccan and I LOVED his sisters! And they could COOK. My favorite was stuffed sardines. Marrakech is amazing - and you can definitely FEEL the history. I sent this to my daughter who actually went to Morocco with her dad last year (1st time as an adult - 25 y/o). I'm looking forward to watching about your Italy trip now.

Wow! What an adventure! I felt like I was there! Laura, awesome filming! Not documentary style boring. You are so brave & daring! I could never take a trip like that! I'd have a nervous breakdown, or never sleep, or never eat, or be in powder room forever if I did!😄

I feel so grateful to be living the life I always dreamed of! Since childhood all I wanted to do was go exploring 😊 anywhere and everywhere! The pandemic really made my husband and I change our priorities and it feels so right! Every time we get home, within a few days, Jesse’s like “where should we go next” 😆 My dream man 🥰 Thanks for cheering me on and for joining us on these adventures! ❤️

Oh my gosh! In the intro, you took on the spirit of Penny Lane from the movie Almost Famous. I had to do a double take to make sure it wasn't Kate Hudson.... Also, Exodus 5:6-9 talks about making bricks with straw.. how the Pharaoh pushed the slaves to produce more and more.. one of the many factors in the Isralites leaving Egypt in search of The Promised Land. Fantastic video. Felt like I was there! Mesmerized.

All my best desert memories arise from the unexpected. Rain storms and flash floods in Broken Hill. Frogs hiding under the rooms at Arkaroola. Waves of grasshoppers rising up from the new grass. So camels in the rain sounds amazing.
