What a great wave. Your ability to keep repeating the same moves will cement that muscle memory in your brain. Super fun looking, looks like a lot of paddling but the looong rides are a just reward. Cheers for a great video.

I have some friends who, like me are intermediate surfers, and we’ve been on a surf trip in southern Portugal, and we’re planning on more, next Spain, and then Morocco I’ve been watching your vids to maybe do better on these surf trips thx! One of us is local to these waves you just surfed 🤙

Looking at this after a 12 hour night shift, first of four nights. Totally sucks to be me! Was in Morocco about 15 years ago, great waves ( kept to the more user friendly size waves and breaks ) great trip and so cheap.

I remember sufing this wave in 2009, it was localised and nothing around. Would love to surf it again.

they've been doing a lot to improve water quality in the area. there's a new sewage system in Taghazout. it makes a big difference!!

@@zcollincollin8939 Really needed it. Building where I was staying years ago, overlooked Hash Point. Watch a local resident drop a flexible pipe into the waste sump and just pump the contents straight out into the sea.

I always do exactly that, lose speed during my cut back and don’t manage the whole rotation. I also always think the wave is peeling right behind me, when i’m actually quite far ahead of the power zone

The problem with Blue Waves is that you paying a European price or more for Moroccan hosting. I understand why you recommend it though, and sure it is worth it.

Looking at a surf trip in Morocco over early Jan and staying at Blue Waves. How many days would you recommend? Was thinking 4-7 days.

I’m surf skating a lot lately so I can practice my bottom turn over and over. Currently the surf at my local for weeks has meant takeoff, get one turn in then close out city. Frustrating. 😢

Can anyone share some knowledge, what is the best time of year to go and are there other country's nearby that are worth adding to a surf trip? Coming from New Zealand, so would probably go for around 2 months😁

You can drink/ buy alcohol. Wouldnt have an open vessel in public though, eg at the beach
