We must ask people of knowledge when there's earthquake should we protect ourselves or stay and maybe die even if it's the House of Allah but you died and you have the possibility to protect yourself but you didn't this question must be addressed to people of knowledge and i will ask in sha Allah.

I'm not a scholar, but to the best of my knowledge you should escape such a disaster, otherwise if you stayed it could be written as suicide for you. و الله أعلم
