Heidi I definitely think the “light” oil left your hair looking not as flat as the “original” oil did. The colour difference is quite obvious so maybe that’s why people think it’ll turn their hair yellow after repeated uses but as many have commented here it hasn’t happened to them. As always I guess we have to try these products out for ourselves if we like what we’ve seen on your channel. Thanks again gorgeous for another informative video xx

I don’t know why the light version makes my fine hair greasy and lank but the original doesn’t.

Hola Heidi!!Yo tbn usaba la versión clásica del aceite ,hasta que una promotora me vio y me aconsejó que por mi tipo de cabello usara el light ,y a pesar de que el común me gustaba el light me gusta más aún!A mi me parece que a ti te quedó mejor el cabello con el light,tbn es cierto que al principio queda como un poco aceitado demás pero al rato pierde ese efecto y queda perfecto.Amoooooo como combinás el color de tu vestimenta con el del packaging del producto que estás reseñando!!

I use the original morroccan oil treatment I feel like it does a good job on my frizzy, long thick hair which needs heavy moisture , I recommend the light oil on fine or thin hair ❤

One thing that not many people know is that the Moroccan Oil brand doesn't use the true Argan Oil that comes from Morocco but instead, Israel has taken the tree seeds and they grow the trees in Israel so that they can make this brand. So the Argan Oil that from the trees that grown anywhere else won't be the same as the true Argan oil from the original trees in the Sous Valley region of souther Morocco. There is a reason why this tree doesn't grow anywhere else in the world and not even in the entire of Morocco, only in a small region there.

Thanks for comparing the 2 products. I've got thick curly hair which I straighten almost everyday and the regular version is great for my type of hair. I also use the oil by Macadamia which is very similar to this oil, and cheaper. 👌

I use the Moroccan oil moisture shampoo and conditioner.It makes my hair super soft.I use it’s a 10 leave in.When my hair is dry the olaplex leave in.I try and use olaplex mask once a month.I don’t need hair masks every week cause my hair is already healthy and it’s waist length.

I think it’ll make a difference if you were platinum or ashy blonde. Anyways, with the original Moroccan Oil treatment, you can mix it in with their Intense Hydrating Mask - they actually recommend it for even deeper conditioning.

Heidi ~ You look so gorgeous in that shade of blue. Argon oil is soo fabulous for your hair. I dont notice one side being yellow..However, if it did make your hair yellow at all = grab the purple shampoo and he fine again.😍😘 great video gorgeous

They say your hair gets more yellow when you use it regularly. However i think this might be the case with lighter blonds i don't think it makes a big difference in your hair. I have a bit lighter blond as yours and it still did not turn my hair yellow after using it 6 months. I switched to the light one only cause it is less heavy. Hope you are doing well my love once again a nice review ❤️❤️❤️ Use the regular oil with your hair mask that's what i do sometimes when my hair is more dry and i like the results.

Hey Heidi! I love your reviews and how honest you are! I’ve been using the Lanza keratin healing oil for almost a year now and honestly I think it is one of the best oils I’ve ever used! It’s a heat and UV protectant and I’m not even half way done with the bottle yet! I think you’d really enjoy it if you were interested! I know you tried the hair mask but I think you’d have better luck with the oil. I really wanna try the Moroccan oil as well but the ingredients list just doesn’t impress me with how high the price is.

The Ordinary 100 % Organic Moroccan Argan Oil is one of my favorites ,Super Cheap Around 7 dlls and All Natural No Perfumes or any other additives, my #1 is the olaplex :) , Another Great 👍 Video, Thank You for Trying all this products for Us 🥰

One thing people should know is that the Ordinary Argan Oil does not smell "good." Actually, it smells awful. I certainly wouldn't put it on my hair and then go out for the day! However, I do like to use it as an overnight treatment, and it's also great for mixing in with a hair mask. I like that it's pure argan oil with nothing added, and it's also very inexpensive. The Moroccanoil does smell amazing, and it also is a nice product. I have them both!!

I love the light one but my hair never went yellow with the normal. Maybe in very light color hair! This is the only oil that leaves my hair soft as silk.

Can you please do a video testing olaplex 0? They realised it recently it acts as a primer. Also thank you so much for your amazing entertaining videos and for introducing me to Olaplex :) I use 3,6 and 7 regularly and they saved my bleached hair.

Hi! I think the hair will not turn yellow. Mocanoil is the best oil in continue use. I prefer to use ir at night, you will see the difference in the next day.

Great video Heidi!!! I must say I have tried Both these oils and I use to love the light one until... Olaplex #7 came along. Love my Olaplex especially when mixed with Olaplex 6! Magnifico! 👌💕

Isn't the oil meant to be used on wet hair? I find it works much better this way, not so much a finishing oil..

Maybe your hair color is lighter in natural light or so (btw nice color! 💕) but I don't think the original one would affect your hair that much? I haven't watched the full video yet so I'm sorry if you spoke about it more 🙏 I recently purchased the Light version of this, after my hairdresser said that I really need to include a hair oil in my hair care routine, I use a hydrating shampoo & mask for blonde hair needs and the Anti Snap by Redken after every hair wash and while it's good my bleached blonde hair needs more moisture and care. I did some research before choosing oil, and when I decided for Moroccanoil I wanted the Original at first, since I have thick hair and my hairdresser comments on it that I need "rich" products since my hair drinks eveything up 😄 However I chose the Light one since I'm very bright cool toned blonde, I use quite a lot each time cause of my thick and dry hair, the Original would suit me better but I'm afraid of the brassiness it might give 👱‍♀️ Where I'm getting at is that, from what I've learned you only have to be careful of "darker" oils if you're very light blonde (like me, profile pic is before I went platinum!) or have white or light grey hair. But it's OK if you're maybe a golden blonde or just simply blonde but not a bright blonde. Do you or anyone here in the comment section have any recommendations for any other oil that's light in color/clear, but "richer" than Morrocanoil Light Treatment? 🤔 🤗

Original is best For your hair becouse Yours has warm tone. Light wersion is for platinium\ white hair

The light version is the best. I use the original one as a pre shampoo step to coat and protect my hair from shampoos and it works great to keep hair soft and frizz-free. However, the Sebastian Dark Oil is still the best one out there for me.

I think it is better to combine the two. I am using the original one , but I combine it with argan oil, which is very light. I have very fine hair and too much product makes my hair looking dirtty 🤦🤦🤦 By the way, have you tried the new Olaplex Nr. 0?? Everyone is crazy about it. It should be combine with Nr. 3 Olaplex🤔🤔🤔🤔 I would really like an opinion on it, because I know you are honest

I think they meant over time. What I found was the original weighed my hair down where as the light doesn’t. I believe you found the same thing 😊
