Haha Ricco is pretty slow at waking up, he’s more of a night owl like myself 😂. I’m not much of a morning person either, so I guess he takes after me lol. 🤷‍♀️

Not all birds will except another bird, especially if they are bonded to you. I took Ricco away from a situation where his sister was not allowing him to eat or drink, he was terrified of her. Some birds especially ringneck parrots will kill another bird if they don’t like them. The stress alone is not worth putting Ricco through that again. Every bird is different, just like us humans.

Now, what about the makeup session? 🤣 I see he has Pullman padded perches, pure luxury. My birds have to sustain in 24h rain and snow at the moment. 😪 For Ricco: Did you try to offer the fresh components first, pellets later? I see my birds suck out the blueberrys first, the energy food after that.

Oh no its been terrible weather in Canada as well, really cold . Thankfully we had some sun for the last past two days. I always make sure to put out extra food for the wild birds during this time, they have a water bowl that prevents the water from freezing so they have access to drinking water. Just wish I could do more for them. Ricco on the other hand is extremely spoiled, but I can’t help it lol. I tell him all the time how good he has it being nice and warm inside living like a king 😂. I usually give him the pellets and the vegetables at the same time before fruits. If I give him fruits first he will eat that instead of the vegetables, and it’s important for him to have his veggies lol.

@@thinkinuturn4834 Haha no it’s a plug in and runny off of electricity lol. It’s called All-Season 3-in-1 heated bird bath. I got it off of Amazon. It only runs if the temperature goes to I believe-1. I have it set to a timer so it doesn’t run all night. So far so good 😊👍

Aww thank you so much 🥰 I thought I’d try different kinds just incase some ever get discontinued and this way he has a variety. I also liked the ingredients in tops so this is why I tried it. Ricco seems to like it , thankfully lol. The swing I purchased from where I got Ricco from. He’s a small store who really takes care of his birds so I like supporting him whenever I can, I just added the comfy cover on the stand part to make it more comfortable 😊. I hope Angels visit goes well and taken off of the medication. Please keep me posted. Give Angel kisses from Ricco and I 😘❤️

@@Riccothegreenpiedirn hi yes it good to try different pellets because what I noticed since the pandemic some times they short on pellets.Yes I like to support the smaller bird stores.I used to shop at petland but they went out of business and alot of the smaller pet stores are going out of business.but now they have Petco in new York.yes I will keep you posted on Angels veterinarian appointment.yes I will give Angel a kiss from you and Ricco 💋. At the veterinarian appointment they will do a blood test to see how his thyroid is doing with less thyroid medication,then hopefully in 6 months he will be off of it but the key taking him off slowly is what she says.Have a wonderful day with Ricco.

@@Riccothegreenpiedirn Hi yes I hope everything is in the clear with Angel it takes about 1 week to get the test back.You know the cute video I did yesterday I had to delete it because I got an email from Petco I can use their stuff in a video with out their permission.I have seen other people use stuff that they got at Petco in their videos so I thought it was ok.but I guess not.Their is one person on you tube that doesn't like me and makes the complaints about me.have a wonderful weekend with the adorable Ricco love you guys.

A lot of his toys i just get here in Canada. I will try to put a video together with some things. Do you have anything specific you are looking for? The stand you see I designed it and made it with my dad. But I will try. 😊

What Harrison pellets are those? I get the super fine granules, but maybe I’ll try the chunkier ones. Don’t think I saw them on Amazon

I tried to find them on Amazon as well but they don’t have them. I usually get my food from www.thingsforwings.ca or www.theparrotshop.ca hope that helps 😊

Depending where you are from it may be different. We are in Canada and our water is not the greatest from the taps, so I use filtered unless he takes a bath or shower. My Avian vet recommended filter water like osmosis. I’m not to familiar with distilled as much. Hopefully someone on parrot forums could answer that for you 😊
